Easy to use
It was just what we needed to view slides and the price was right.

very handy ,works well
no problems at all with this little handy device. My dad can use it easily, he likes it very much. It is bright enough to see the slides well, the little release lever is cool. The only drawback is you have to take the rejected ones out at least after no more than three are rejected, otherwise, the slides will not be able to fall out properly.

don't put slide in tilted
Can very easily view slides. Just have to make sure put slide in perfectly straight, otherwise won't eject and have to jiggle machine around to get it to eject.

This is a great product to view all those old slides!!! It works very well, and I’m really enjoying it.

What I wish I had known before buying
For negative viewing: The ad shows a negtive strip inserted, with color image projected on the screeen with 3x magnification. In fact, that's not what happens with negatives--it is just a simple backlight, no color reversal, no 3x display, and maybe 1.5x magnification. at best. You can do that with a flashlight.Maybe it works well for slides, but not's why I bought it.
