This replaced my old one that lasted for yeas but finally gave out. This one is similar, comfortable, strong and well built. Swing is it as often as I can. The brown color is very environmentally healthy.

Bought this to replace the 20 year old no-name rope hammock that finally gave up the ghost.I was a little skeptical, but it is the same size and (better?) Quality than the old hammock.The wood spreader bars are clear-finished quality beech (wood),The rope is soft, the macrame is well done, and it fits right where the old one did.

I bought a hammock from one of the big box stores that looks similar to this but would not hold weight. This one came in plenty of time and looks great. This is the third one of these we have bought in 5 years. The first one rotted out after year 4 and the second one became a dog chew toy with our new puppy. Those seemed to be a little bit more sturdy than the newest order. This newest order from amazon when I sat on it immediately stretched and I was on the ground. I am very much under the 450 lb weight limit so this was quite a shock when I found my but still in the hammock with my butt on the ground. I don't recall either of my others doing this. Once I adjusted the chains on my stand it seemed to be fine. The cheaper big box store one took 4 adjustments before I didn't have to readjust.So in conclusion, this isn't as nice as the ones I have bought in the past but compared to a more expensive home improvement store hammock that is the same style I will give it 4 stars.

This is a great hammock…we have it on a stand. Easy to get in and out of…both my husband and I enjoy spending time in it….and with the weight limit we can use it together.

Last year, due to an unfortunate lawnmowing incident I damaged a hammock that I had enjoyed for 2 to 3 years. I saw this one on Amazon and thought “hey, that looks like a good hammock at a fair price.”But, nay. This hammock is so saggy that even after getting it almost directly attached from tree to tree, my butt still basically touches the ground when I am laying in it. For comparisons sake, I weigh about 155 pounds. The knots seem very loose, and the gaps between the ropes are either very very close together or almost big enough you could put a softball through it.All in all, this is a disappointment, because the ropes are soft and comfortable, but I’m folded like a taco, which is just not that comfortable.I am further worried that as this hammock stretches out – which all hammocks do – it will be unusable. Of course, I bought this earlier in the spring and my return window expired three days ago. My bad.

The color is good and it is nice

The hammock itself seems great but it's too big for the space I have (the hooks are already anchored into the porch) and the cotton has a hug amount of give so it sags a lot after 1 attempt to sit in it (I'm 130 pounds). There is no way to connect with the seller and get help about which replacement hammock would work for my situation. Amazon's "messaging assistant" is worthless and what I want is to get a recommendation and buy another model. Instead I will have to return it and go to a company where I can talk to an actual human. Bummer.
