I bought the 39 piece set. It doesn’t look like any of the images at the top of the reviews but it looks just like the image in the product description.I will be storing this inside in a cupboard, I’m not anticipating any rust. I am a sewist and looked over the case seams and construction; it looks sturdy and should suit my usage. I am not hard on things.All of the tools feel sturdy, move easily, locking parts lock, tweezers line up, digital volt thingy works. Seems good. I need this for cleaning up some electronics and it has a variety of small weird looking screwdriver heads that I need. I would have loved this a few years ago when I was taking apart my robot vacuum cleaner.The only thing I need but was not included is a pair of needle nose pliers.Now to take apart those wii controllers.

The tool set packs a lot of tools into a small package. The most common bits (phillips, flathead, torx, hex, etc) cover a pretty common range of sizes. I like the plastic grip texture on the tools - every tool except the pry tools have a textured non-slick surface. The pry tools are average, and I would not expect them to last long if they are used on really tight-fitting equipment. One really nice touch that some small toolkits omit is the extender for the screwdriver - it really helps when reaching down into a case. The fixed-end screwdrivers have rotating tops that help apply a little extra pressure while turning tight screws. The ratcheted screwdriver top also rotates, but doesn't have the flared top like the fixed-end screwdrivers. The cutter and needle-nose with cutters both look like they will handle most small wiring tasks. The handles have good shape but don't feel rubberized like the ratchet screwdriver. They still feel solid in hand, though. I cannot speak to the durability of the tools, but initial use shows that they are adequate given the price I paid. I expect them to last a few years, with the possible exception of the ratchet in the screwdriver. I have no idea how to estimate that part.

You get pretty much everything you'll ever need to upgrade or repair a laptop or phone. Not having to pay so much and getting all the tools needed, and then some, is nice. Comes in a nice little, portable zip-up case too. The only thing is that some of the things that are supposed to hold the items, don't always hold them in well. I've definitely opened it up a few times to see tools all over the place, out of their sleeves, but for the price, this is forgiven.

Good quality and good number of tools for the money. I've used it twice already and I am overall happy with the product.The only negative so far is that the first time I went to zipper the pack back up the zipper came off. I was able to get it back on with some effort. A simple zipper stop would likely remedy this. But for the price I am not surprised.

I don't use this set very often, but it's a solid set made of good quality materials. I'm disassembling my old smartphones now and the large collection of driver bits, all clearly labeled with their sizes and shapes, is extremely helpful. The case is also sturdy and a pleasure to look at.

A perfect gift for a budding IT tech

One of my radios (ham) went out so I started debugging. Got it down to a handful of components. When I went to de-solder I wasted time looking for tools to do the job. Needed a couple diagonal clippers, tweezers and screwdrivers. I decided to look for an electronics rework kit with all the necessary parts in one place. I found this one. I have a bad habit of using the tool the setting it down in one room or the other and losing it. If I have I kit I know to put all the same place, at least I do this at work. Other kits were mainly screwdrivers and I needed some diagonals and strippers. The tools are solid and appear to be above average quality

Nice case, tools are decent except for cutting pliers, they are HORRIBLE--you can hold them up to the light and the "cutting" edges never touch. Once I replaced them the kit is not too bad so I gave it 3 stars

Very nice but if kit, comes with every thing I needed and a few bits I wasn’t expecting. Not to heavy case seems rugged enough and the tools I’ve used seem good quality.Highly recommend
