the book is in good condition but no bubble wrap.

this book, unlike other books I have ordered, wasn't covered in bubble wrap so it came slightly damaged, which I was disappointed about, but at the end It's a book.

I bought a new hardcover copy off here, and was sent a book in absolutely horrible condition. I fully recommend buying this book, but I fully recommend avoiding Amazon as the place you purchase it. I was actually shocked they sent me this garbage. Who the hell puts that in a box thinking it's okay to sell? I'm giving it 5 stars because I don't want to harm the actual novel's rating, but I feel obligated to warn people away from using Amazon to buy it. They refunded me my money, but it's still agitating that it happened at all.

I'm so glad that I got this book as the introduction to my first reading spree in years. The first maybe 100 pages can feel a little bit slow, as usual with in-depth stories that need foundation, but then it's just amazing. I was mindblown by the environments that is showcased and, being on the 4th book now, I still think about this first one a lot.

I will keep it short. I have read many novels, some were good, some were bad, some were okay, but most of them didn't manage to get to me on an emotional level.But this.This novel truly hit and it hit right in the heart.Many stories are a copy of another story, they use the same themes, same plots that I've seen a thousand times. And in many of those stories emotions feel... blank? Like you know they are there, but you can't feel them.This novel is truly original. When you first step into that world built on a simple idea of colors, you don't know what to expect, you don't know what this world holds, you are in a brand new place.And you can feel it. Throughout the book, while experiencing not only the world, but the story and characters, you can feel the emotions, and that makes a novel shine brighter than the others.No other novel kept me engaged like this one. Not only the story is just amazing, but the way it is written, too. The sentences and paragraphs have this hard to achieve flow. All of this is like a river that you can lose yourelf in, in a very good way. And this story...Like the star you can't stop looking at.

Me llamó la atención este libro porque involucra a la ciencia ficción y a la distopía. No me defraudó, lo encontré entretenido de principio a fin. Pienso que la sociedad distópica está mejor construida que en el mundo de Hunger games y el protagonista actúa mucho más realistamente. Es una historia llena de dolor, acción, brutalidad, violencia, reflexión y un poco de esperanza. Si buscan un libro romántico este no lo es, aunque sí hay un poco de romance involucrado. Las pastas blandas no son tan frágiles y el color del papel no es completamente blanco pero no me molesta. El libro se ve más delgado de lo que normalmente sería porque el papel es delgado, pero no tan delgado como para romperse.

Few books can claim such flowing sentences, keeping you hooked and on the edge of your seat! I didn't expect the hunger games style of story but know it leads to more later on. If a book such as this can cause you so much emotion then it's worth logging in and writing a review.Give me more Reaper.I'll be purchasing the rest of the series.
