Great pump, heavy sturdy construction, complete with additional attachment's for other pipe sizes, foam filter and has a plug fitted

Works well and has a good lift. Easy to clean and has an adjustable flow rate. Can even attach hose for remote water input. Time will tell

Do not buy this under any circumstances
Quite simply - this worked for about two weeks and then delivered no pressure at all. The rotor simply banged about, creating a lot of noise, creating a pulse of water that rose about three inches into the pond tubing. Even when I followed the instructions and cleaned out the entire system, the problem remained. It seems that the induction motor simply fails to deliver enough power - or transmit power to the rotor effectively to work. Frankly I would like my money back ... but suspect this request, together with this review, sill disappear into the Amazon system! But nonetheless - do not bother with this item, and treat the other reviews with some skepticism.

Pump for koi pond - great suction
We already had a similar pump filter system to this in our new koi pond, but decided to buy this one as well with a backup filter to make doubly sure the pond would be kept crystal clear.All I can say is this pump is very powerful indeed which means we are cleaning the filter inside the pump at least once a week.Fortunately this is very simple and quick to do.Now it is getting much colder, I am sure the frequency will reduce.Would definitely buy this again
