Don't trust this stand with your electric bass. I have a Fender Jazz bass which is about as basic of a bass body as you can get. It became immediately apparent that this stand was not designed to hold that bass. The top of the stand does not fit cleanly against the back of the bass and there was no way to adjust the stand to make it fit better. I sat the bass on the stand and walked out of the room for 30 seconds only to hear the bass fall off the stand. And it didn't fall forward or maybe backward as maybe you might expect but instead it fell off sideways!! Not sure if there are electric bases that this thing works with, but if it doesn't work with a Fender, then I'm imagining most other basses won't be a good fit either.

Quick easy to use... easy to setup... guitar stand (with NO neck support).I purchased this for when I do recording sessions, and need a 2nd stand for bass (instead of switching two - using one stand). - Now, I can have them both out at the same time.I use THIS one for my STRAT... and another one that has neck support for my bass which is longer, bigger, and heavier (so that it doesn't topple over).The two together... is a perfect tandem for my needs.

For me, the most important thing about a guitar stand is its stability, followed by its portability and appearance.For this Aodsk guitar stand, it does all these three points.1. Stability: The triangular design makes it very stable. I can even stand on it. For some people who need to perform or place it for a long time, this guitar stand is your best choice.2. Portability: It can be folded, which is also something I like very much. It can be both stable and portable at the same time! This is a rare good thing!3. Appearance: The very simple appearance is pleasing to the eye. When I have seen a lot of fancy colors, I will eventually choose black, which will also match my guitar very well.I only own one now, and I may buy another one for my student in the future. I hope he will like this bracket too!

This stand is perfect. It's sturdy, versatile and ultra compact. It folds and fits in my laptop bag. It's my new favorite stand to use for gigs. No more dissasembling and carrying in multiple pieces. I'm coming back for a few more.

Price is good for this item. I own the Hamilton hang- type guitar stand, so this one was a new experience for me. This is as easy to deal with and costs less. The job gets done and that's all that really matters with an item like this. No special setup required to keep it steady ( from what I can see ) , so go with the money savings.

Great stand, very stable, works for electric or acoustic guitar. Just right for me.
