A bit of an upgrade...
This is a decent tool and is certainly better than the collet-chuck type that came with my set of taps which was prone to slipping as it relied solely upon gripping the smooth edges of the tap. This however easily locks multiple size taps from M3 to M10 (1/16" to 1/2") firmly in place with no chance of slipping. Mine was a little stiff initially but with the application of some grease on the threads and a little use, things were soon working smoothly and it has certainly upgraded my toolkit in the thread-cutting department.

Broke first and only time used, not worth buying.
Used to hold a tap to chase out an existing thread. Jaw that grips the square shoulder on the end of the tap broke in half (see picture above) and is now not usable. Suggest if you need a new tap wrench that you spend a few pounds more and buy a better quality one.

Doesn't Tighten Around the Tap
The screw for bringing the jaws together to hold the blunt end of the tap in place is very poor, not allowing the tap to be clamped properly. Makes working with this difficult when needing a good threading.

Junk
I don’t normally write reviews but this is possibly the worst tool i have ever bought! It broke after tapping one m12 thread. I can understand if you have to put a stupid amount of pressure on it! But I didn’t. The thread i was tapping was easy to tap! Hardly any pressure! The parts that clamp the tap are made of chocolate!

OK for small taps...
Fast delivery. Not Recommended for anything bigger than M8.

Utter Rubbish. One use destruction.
This item absolutely unfit for purpose. Tried to tap a 10mm thread for the first time and the vee clamp jaw snapped with very little pressure applied. Keep your money this is rubbish. Weak.
