Functions very similar to a jack-in-the box due to the fact that it needs to be continuously wound in order to play the music box inside.The inside of the box holds the mechanics, rendering it useless for putting anything into it. 😕

this box is soooooo tiny and i thought it would wind up and then play the song. i guess for 15 i get what i paid for. i do like the custom message option though.

Small but nice sounding music box my wife likes. It is not spring wound as most, you must continually crank it for music which she thinks is part of the fun and uniqueness.

I don't know what I expected when I purchased this gift for my husband's grandmother but we both got a good laugh at it when it arrived. Yes it's small. But had I (and others) read the full description before buying, we would have known that. It's cute. It's fun and I'm sure his grandmother will enjoy it. I am glad this wasn't the only thing we purchased though.

The person we gave it to we really didn't know but loved Elvis. When it arrived it was small but very detailed and beautiful and played a song so that made up for the tinyness of it
