This is great for camping and festivals, just the right size for recharges for a weekend. Eventually the rechargeable batteries will die or go critical mass, 3-5 year lifespan; but these are very serviceable to replace the batteries and should serve you a long time.

Alright. It has been a long Tim (over a year) since I ordered this as a back up for a post surgical oxygen compressor after the electric company notified our region that there would be rolling blackouts. It performed quite admirably in making sure that the oxygen condenser kept working when we lost power. Since that time it has server well in keeping the fridge running the power goes out and in providing ample power when we camp or attend events that have no ready electricity. Definitely looking into buying a bigger one

This battery/power source is so incredible. Completely silent, lasts as long as advertised if not more. Gives you amazing information on battery life, how much you are drawing from it. How many watts are going in when you are charging it. I love it. One concern and something to aware of....when it is charging, the box on the cord that the AC plugs into get extremely hot. It warns you that it is HOT🔥 but they mean hot!! I couldn't hold it in my hand. So I only charge it when I'm awake and nearby. Still...I highly recommend it.

I have been a fan of Goal Zero for more than ten years. As an old-school off road truck camper, I wanted to upgrade my camp lighting from the old Coleman gas lamps and have a rechargeable power source for battery devices. The original Goal Zero lead acid batteries were terrible. I bought several and they never lasted more than a year. I was happy to see the new Yeti 1000X on sale before Christmas, so I spent the $500+ and bought it. After charging the lithium Ion battery, I tested the device on several different lights and appliances. It seems to work well with Goal Zero LED lights, but i am getting nowhere near the stated power output or duration for 110V. I was hoping to be able to use this power supply as an emergency backup for my gas generator if we lose residential power, but it is clearly not designed for this level of duty cycle. Just running a small 110V fan for a couple of hours drained more than half the power. Not designed at all for home appliances. I'm not sure why, but it has only been a month and Amazon and Goal Zero both indicate that this model has been discontinued. I am hoping this lasts longer than the older batteries did.
