2-3 Year Old (2-3 Ft) Meiwa Kumquat Tree

When we received our tree it came in cactus soil and it was quite damp. About a month after receiving the tree, the leaves started falling off. I thought it might need water due to the fact I didn’t water it at all yet. That was not the answer. After watering the tree for the first time, the leaves started falling off at a faster rate. I repotted the tree in dry soil but it was too late. The last of the leaves fell off yesterday. Not happy at all.

I ordered a this Meiwa kumquat tree on May 21, 2016. When it came, it was a 2-ft tree mostly bare at the bottom, but with leaves and flowers near the top. I was a bit concerned, because some of the leaves had holes in them, which looked like insect bites. I put it outside in a sunny spot and sprayed it with a insecticide/fugicide. In five months, it has grown eight-inches and many more leaves and flowers. All the new leaves are healthy I counted at least two dozen kumquats hanging on the tree. They are all still green, but they look healthy. I brought it indoors on October 2, 2016. I am waiting for the fruits to ripen. I highly recommend Lemon Citrus Tree.

I order this tree because I read that meiwa kumquats are the sweetest kind. I received a gorgeous tree. It was roughly 3 feet tall. It actually had one kumquat on it that was half broken off from shipping. My husband cut it into slices and we tried it. It had an awesome sweet flavor. So happy I bought it. If shipping wasn't so expensive, I would definitely buy another one.

Great seller, good communication. When my tree died, seller honored warranty and sent me another one. I had to pay $25 shipping fee, but it was very well worth it. The replacement tree is healthy and beautiful with a fruit and many blossoms. I highly recommend this seller to all prospective buyers.

I made a few mistakes with my tree after it came -- underwatered it big time. Luckily it's a tough little thing and has recovered. It's covered with little white blossoms and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get yummy kumquats!

The tree arrived in good condition and is already putting out new growth. I'm looking forward to watching it bloom and produce kumquats.
