Able to install without Dryer Disassembly!
Excellent fit, easy install WITHOUT dryer disassembly! Our dryer is on a stand.First unplug it. Rotate to access original vent and new side vent locations. Remove screw holding the back vent in, (save the screw), and pull out vent pipe.Next, carefully take out the punchout for the side vent.(I used a straight blade screwdriver, hammer and tapped by each connection to avoid denting the side panel) I put my phone on flashlight and laid it just inside to illuminate the interior.Connect the pipe labeled front to the fan housing and screw into the tab you have to pry up vertical from the dryer base and screw in the saved screw connecting the two matching holes on the front pipe and the base tab.Next, take the elbow and slide it onto the installed front pipe. (Turned to line up with the new slide vent openingFrom the outside, select the correct side vent pipe and insert it into the elbow with the new outzide screw tab outside os the dryer. Check by feel that the two straight pupes are slid completely into the elbow, then reach in from the back and add pieces of metal tape to completely seah both sides of the elbow. (hint: if your light can be seen inside the pipe, add more tape to seal.Drill a hole to match the side vent pipe tab and insert a self tapping screw to fix your new side vent pipe in place. (Remove your flashlight/phone) Cover the original back vent hole with the provided snap in cover. plug in dryet. Done!

It works, but pack your patience....
So, this kit did indeed work perfectly for redirecting the dryer exhaust out the side of my machine. BUT, its installation is not for the faint of heart. Samsung has great engineers, they need to make this process easier! Be prepared to crawl along on the floor, reaching rather blindly attempting to get things lined up correctly. Some small self-tapping screws are helpful to secure things in place where possible. Be sure to have good duct tape on hand. Putting the tape on after everything is assembled is completely blind luck. It's a little unnerving thinking if you don't do it exactly right lent could be released into the bottom of the machine and eventually become a fire hazard! Be sure to line the edges of the knockout hole with tape so you don't cut yourself as you work with your arms through the holes up to your elbows.

Perfect Fit and Easy Install
Went online to watch many reviews and videos, most of which saying you needed to take the top, front, and entire drum assembly out to do this conversion. That was far too much trouble on a new dryer to attempt, and some of the reviews said it can be done without removing all that stuff. They were right. Entire project took less than 30 minutes (because I really take my time), but could probably be accomplished in 10-15 minutes easily. Just follow the simple instructions that came with this kit, and all the parts are clearly marked.Pictures along my progression for you. One single screw to take out the original Exhaust Vent, pop out the side vent disc (carefully)(I used a file to smooth rough spots right after popping it out), Now you have 2 holes to work with (I just placed a small flashlight inside while working for visibility). Bed the little support from the bottom of the dryer base and insert the FRONT Exhaust piece into the front of the dryer exhaust port. You then just turn that Front piece a half inch to lock into the bottom support. (I then inserted a small screw into the connection (didn't say you had to) for more assurance it would stay together. Insert the ELBOW onto the Front Exhaust towards the side you are venting to. Then insert the SIDE Exhaust piece into the elbow and out the side. I then reached through the back (original exhaust hole) and put a few small pieces of Duct Tape around the spots that I could reach (mostly because the part where the Elbow and Side piece connect appeared to have a bit of gap). Marked the spot for installing the screw in the side and drilled a 1/8th inch hole, then inserted the original screw from the back exhaust removed earlier and tightened. Insert the supplied plastic plate into the original exhaust hole, which just snaps in place. Installed my dryer vent hose to the outside vent spot and done. I'm over 60, overweight, and bad joints everywhere in my body and I could do this pretty easily laying on the floor, so anybody should be able to do it. Enjoy, and hope this helps somebody.

Exact fit for the purpose intended!
Exact fit for my new Samsung electric dryer! The provided instructions were not too helpful. But if you search You Tube for a "How to" video you won't have an issue! This kit isessential if you have a need to "side-vent" your dryer's exhaust!

Works great but...
Works great but...I would just buy some semit rigid/flexible and or elbows to make my own next time. This is great but more expensive option. Also has directions, which you don't really need. There is no need to take anything apart, as far as the drum or front / side panals.
