I needed to replace my aging Dell Inspiron laptop with something more up to date. Short list another Dell, Microsoft Surface or Mac Book. My son who works in IT support recomended The Surface 4. Looks good has great speed and long battery life. Lovely to use. A great lightweight replacement for most ordinary users.

I think this laptop is a good choice for someone who needs to type a lot. The keyboard and screen are absolutely fantastic and the laptop is quite light, and the power supply is also very compact. It is not the most powerful laptop out there, but does the job well. It is very reliable, and for me that is more important than getting the latest processor. The trackpad is very responsive, overall build quality of the product is very sturdy. I don't use the touch screen at all, so I cant really comment on that.

This is very pleasant to use and has a good feel about it. Performs well. It wasn’t cheap but it’s good. Pity Windows 11 isn’t though.

The surface simply stopped working and the after £1600.00 remains the single worst purchase on Amazon.....

It is true it is a bit pricey, but you pay for the quality and reliability you get, I have been using it for over a year now, I fo not feel it is outdated at all, performs perfectly in all environments, office, travel, presentations, etc...
