Dr. Matthew Stevenson is a powerful man of God whose books never disappoint and based on the Word of God. I've only completed the first chapter but have been cut. While the book is a short read, it's not one of those books that you want to breeze through. You'll want to mediate. You'll want to say, "Lord, search me." Here's a little taste, "We have come to learn over time that it's not what you do that pleases God; it's WHY you do what you do that glorifies Him most" (capitalization mines). "Strange Fire" is a must have book for any child of God who wants to be more like Him

Wonderful book, and very informative. I finished it, and Father instructed me to read it three times!! Though this book stayed in my cart about a year, my visit to a new salon prompted me to purchase it. I wouldn't say that I was gullible, but I am very accepting of others without regard. This book refined my focus and loyalty to Father, and his purpose above all.

This book was absolutely worth the purchase. After finishing it, I feel like I can read it again and still get new revelation out of it. I appreciate Apostle Stevenson's ministry and am thankful the book didn't disappoint. It has definitely helped to increase my faith and understanding of how to do ministry more effectively.

This is a great gift idea for anyone. I got it for my husband - He loved it. Then he shared it with a friend - He loved it. Then he shared it with a friend - and he loved it. And it goes on and on . Hubby wants to read it again and I think I will have to get him another one.
