Magimix 5200XL Food Processor - Cream

We have had this for about 9 months, its almost industrial. I have a smaller alternative make that is no so heavy that I use more often, but if its large quantities of hard stuff this is the one to use,. To gind peanuts for peanut butter i had to use loads of small amount in my domestic processor. This mixer is a dream, 500g of peanuts in a once, on for 20 - 30 seconds - instant peanut butter. It weighs a ton but it will taken on any requirements you have.

I have had this food processor for about a month now, it is the first that I have purchased so I did a lot of research prior to buying this particular one, However the reviews were mixed as you would expect.So far I am really impressed by how efficient it is, once you get used to which gadget does what it is really an amazing machine, I have turned out some lovely cakes and had lots of fun experimenting.It is very expensive but as it has a really good guarantee I’m looking on it as an investment.

Unfortunately, I bought this product second hand and it arrived with a huge crack on the base. We continued, knowing we had paid less for a used one, although it had been claimed to be in very good condition. On testing it out, however, it failed to work at all . The motor was struggling and wouldn’t turn. Obviously the motor was damaged when the base was cracked. A great looking piece of kit though so will have to stretch to buy new.

Very well made product I have switched from being lifelong Kenwood user to this and it is so easy to use. The only down side is it is very heavy and large but that is not an issue when you get such good quality with lots of accessories included
