I absolutely love wooden toys and this puzzle is no exception. A great quality, solid set from the Melissa and doug range of blues clues. The puzzle is quite heavy weight. It comes cellophane wrapped so you can see exactly what you're getting. The puzzle board is 12cm x 12cm x 1cm. It feels really solid and well made. 9 chunky shape pieces and thick sturdy wood with no rough, sharp edges or splinters. All finished well, the rainbow is bright and colourful and the base board is painted and has the design painted where the pieces fit also. Each piece fits well in its hole and it can also be placed so it stands up. Use their imaginations and play with blue and magenta with blues House, aswell as using it as a puzzle. It's a brilliant way to teach your little one problem solving, help develop fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Aswell as developing the ability to recognise multiple colours and shapes. Superb quality with well illustrated pieces. Perfect for both boys and girls. Would make a beautiful gift. Perfect for all little ones that's built to last.

This is a toy well suited to very young children as it's essentially a rainbow puzzle with a couple of Blue's clues characters thrown in. My 2 year old niece seems to love it and it's certainly getting a lot of attention at the moment.Probably not the cheapest toy considering what it is but it is very well made. The bright and colourful wooden pieces make a nice change from plastic toys.

Great to teach size, color, and hand eye coordination.

Really creative and colourful stacking puzzle. All the elements are made out of wood and have a nice weight to them (but not too heavy so children will be able to hold all the pieces comfortably).It is very, very colourful and it really caught my kid’s attention the moment I showed it to him. We sat together and played with all the elements. We made an arch way and got the figures passing underneath it and we even tried to stack all the colourful pieces of the rainbow to make a make-shift tower. He also played on his own afterwards and seem to have a good time. We really liked Blue’s Clues so this was a perfect toy for him.It is a simple toy but it is very well made and is perfect for kids who like the show.

Really pleased with this Blues Clues & You puzzle! I say puzzle but we don’t really use it as such as my little girl is nearly 3, but it would be great as a puzzle for young toddlers. We use it as a blue’s clues version of the normal Montessori rainbow stacking game as tunnels for cars etc. There’s a lot of open ended play you can do with these and the blues clues pieces are also shaped at the bottom to be stackable onto the rainbow too. It really has encouraged my daughter to use her imagination to create different ways to play which is great. The pieces themselves are also good quality and fit back well in the puzzle board if you want to lay it flat for storage.Overall I’m really pleased with this and would definitely recommend, especially for a young blues clues fan as this will last a good few years being played with in different ways as they grow.

My original expectation was that I didn't think this would be up to much quality wise and it would have been priced purely on its branding.However when it arrived and I was able to take a look at it, the quality of the construction and finish to the product really stood out. It's really is beautifully made and painted. Consisting of 9 peices, all of which are well made and solid. The product really does look and feel a cut above that of other similar toys.Personally I think that Melissa & Doug have really got the quality right here, and although at £21.50, it's expensive, I really feel that it's exactly that sort of thing which would make a lovely gift for someone. So yes, it's worth the money.

I’m a great fan of Melissa and Doug toys - they are excellent quality and are ideal for stimulating children’s imagination.This puzzle doubles as a rather wonderful ornament too - I’m displaying mine on the window sill as part of the Covid 🌈 NHS support.I tested with a 3 year who thoroughly enjoyed recreating a rainbow which stimulated the rainbow song and learning colours - bonus!The puzzle pieces are very robust and will withstand lots of play.Highly recommended - 5 stars from me.I hope you find my review helpful 😊
