Works as advertised. I use these with my kitty litter disposal can. Instead of buying expensive refills for it, I use a roll of 4 gallon trash bags and these bands work perfectly to hold them in place.

I was originally looking for rubber book straps, like the ones we used for school in the 60's? They had a metal hook-like thing on both the ends. They don't make them anymore, nor can any antique ones be found.These bands though are fantastic and they hold my books together neatly so they don't slide all over the place. I have stretched the heck out of them and they have not broken at all.

Picked up a pack of these, as I often found myself needing longer elastics than what is commonly found around the house. These are fantastic and are large enough that I use one to hold the garbage bag around the rim of the garbage (we have one of those fancy garbage cans with the removable liner, but once a bag's in place, getting that liner back in is a pain in the ass unless you can hold the bag on it securely, hence these big ass rubber bands!Love them and have used them for a bunch of little projects! Highly recommended!

I use these for keeping deal jackets together.
