In the past, we have wrestled with a laminator and punched holes into individual tags. It takes hours to do this. Not this time! My teenage daughter was able to put 50 of these together in about 30 minutes. So easy! The plastic is thick and the seal seems secure. I have not submerged it in water, but a little rain didn't have any effect. I suggest that folks use card stock paper or cards to fill them. Ordering more because I ran out!
