Castle On the Hill is the first of a set. During one of my searches for cool castles (real ones) I found a few that I liked and mixed together for this piece. I wanted the castle to look formidable, but also tranquil. I could imagine people traveling down some old road on a nice Spring day and seeing the castle as they drew near. As usual there are a few half hidden things in the foliage and the ability to take the picture in any way you want to take it. What can happen with the scene. Is it the silence before siege or a scene of peaceful prosperity? Quests begun or coming to a conclusion?
