Very thoughtful engineering went into designing this foot massager. I had only tried an EMS foot massager before trying this. I'm a men's size 9 1/2. Able to position my feet, so the massaging rollers touch from the heels, across the arch, to a dance across the toes. I'm liking the setting that it comes on with; using the rollers and pressure setting. #2 seems about right for me. Pressure setting comes on #1, goes up to #5. Just get comfortably seated, you'll have no choice but to relax. This is bound to be a beneficial therapy for anyone. Has (2) remotes, they work just fine, aim down at top center. There's a magnetic hold down on the top right, to hold a remote. I've had a nerve condition in my feet for a few years now due to spinal arthritis. Recently tried an EMS foot massager, it had inflamed the nerves in my feet so I stopped. Started using the Miko about a week ago, twice a day. This therapy has a natural movement to it. It seems to be helping my condition tone down, definitely a part of my daily routine now.

First of all, I have a confession to make... I rely heavily on reviews when making purchases online. Almost to the point of over-researching EVERYTHING I buy. My husband makes fun of me for the time I spend reading every review on every product before clicking the BUY NOW button. However, with three small kids and a business, I often have good intentions to go in and write a review myself but it ends up going on my "List of Things to Do" when I have some time and then life happens and it never gets done. I am extremely finicky when it comes to spending money and when I do, I want to make sure it is on a quality product that I will enjoy. So please, when you read this, know that I am SO IMPRESSED with this product that I made sure I actually sat down and completed the review to help others make the same decision I am so glad I made in purchasing this. I have owned the Miko Shiatsu Foot Massager for a little over a year. For my birthday, my parents wanted to get me something to help me relax and take some well deserved "Me-Time" which almost always never happens when you have three small children. They were going to buy me a massage at a local spa which would have been heavenly I'm sure... I researched this product and thought to myself, "A massage would be great but only would be 50 minutes of euphoria. If I got this, I could enjoy it over and over again." So, I did my research and boy am I glad I chose this Foot Massager. I use it ALL OF THE TIME. Almost every day. I keep it under my desk in our home office so when I am on my computer working, checking emails, paying bills, doing taxes, editing pictures of my kiddos, etc, etc, it is there ready for my little tootsies to put inside and push the ON button on the remote control. I enjoy 15 minutes of absolutely euphoria. When it ends, I get sad and sometimes splurge and push it on again... and again. I have enjoyed this so much I bought one for my parents, suggested my brother and sister-in-law get one, heck, I even sent the link to my accountant who in conversation was saying how stressed out he was during tax season. When I told him that I was in my happy place and getting a foot massage while we were having our conversation, he laughed and thought I was joking. No joke. It's the best thing ever. It is quiet, effective, and does a great job kneading the days' stress away. I am on my feet all day tending to the kids, running up and down stairs, making dinner, chasing the dog, doing laundry, etc, etc. There are five different settings on how intense you want your foot massage to be. I usually stay between 1 and 3. There is a Heat option, which is amazing. Again, I cannot sing its praises enough. Thank you Miko for making such a quality product. First I had ordered the one with buttons however I received the digital one with two remotes. It was well packaged and arrived in good condition. This is the fourth massager I’ve tried, I returned the other three as they just didn’t meet my expectations price range starting in the low $60 range.The cord on this one is not long enough for me and I had to use an extension cord. This is the first one that had a grounded plug. Others have noted they could not feel the massage on their heels, I found that not to be a problem at all. Size 10 foot. It does focus on the on the ball of the foot and heel and little on the instep, however if I pull my foot back some I can get the instep. This was the only one I tried that had an open back and I like that.The pressure it quite pleasant and has a uniform pressure over the front part of the foot. I used all pressure settings and found #4 served me best.I like the massager feature as it changes direction to maximize the effect. I found the pressure inflating and deflating worked well.I removed one star as the remote only works while holding it directly over the massager making the remote not as useful as it should be, and it’s pre-programmed to only run for 15 min then shuts off, then you have to start over and reprogram. It should have a memory setting allowing you to go directly to your desired setting. I haven’t tried the heat setting yet as it’s 92 outside and my feet aren’t cold.I’m noticing a clicking sound on the left heel massager, I’ve put in a contact request to discuss the with them to make sure that’s normal or not.These are my first impressions and I’ll update later as I’ve had more time with the unit.But as of now I’d say give this a try I think you’ll like it.UPDATE: Well it’s been just over a month and I am very pleased with how well this keeps my feet feeling good. It does make a clicking noise while massaging. I contacted the company who promptly responded and said there is a break in period. The sound is not that bad so as long as it still works I’m not worried.Definitely recommend this over others.
