Cork Retriever 1030

Every once in a while, a cork breaks and I can't get it out, and end up having to push it down into the bottle. This gadget is a lifesaver. Simply put it in the bottle, squeeze it and it grabs the cork and you can pull it out. You might not need it often or even ever, but you'll be so glad you have it if and when you do.

This item is well-made with nice flexible tongs. In that rare event when you encounter that problematic cork which slipped into the bottle - you need THIS tool to extract the cork - effortlessly. If you like wine, or your friend likes wine, the day will come when you will encounter that cork requiring extraction. When you do you will need this tool to save the day. You will be happy to have it handy.

Waiting for the next cork to drop into the bottle when I apply the corkscrew. The boy scout motto is be prepared.You cannot wait for the cork to drop before ordering. You must have one of these ready to go.Take it to all your wine events so you can rescue the wine when the host's cork drops.

These are great! We always carry one in our wine bag. Older corks can slip into the bottle and this retriever quickly and easily can pull it out! Easy to use and not complex. No tricks -- just insert and grab the cork and out!

Doesn't really work all that well. Easier to leave cork in bottle than trying to spend somuch time trying to get it out. Maybe I don't know how to use it correctly, but so far no luck..Not that I need to use it often..
