Uniclife Pet Water Fountain, Dog Cat Automatic Electric Drinking Bowl with LED Light (Filter for Cube Fountain)

I have a cute yorkie who's just under 4 lbs. and I love watching him drink from this fountain! I've had this fountain for 6 months or so... I have no complaints, it cleans up easy, it's quiet (thank goodness), the light which is great, especially when all lights are out is still going strong. I feel like it attracts him to drinking more water which is another plus in my book!

The media could not be loaded.  My ferrets love this fountain! It’s a great way for them to have access to fresh running water while playing! They chose to drink out of this way more then their regular water bowl. Please supervise your pets while it’s on, mine like to play in it and it worries me they will damage it or make a mess due to the fact it comes apart kind of easy. I also wish it had an off switch, I have to unplug mine to get it to turn off. But still overall for this price I really like this fountain bowl and so do my pets.

I purchased this fountain 5 months ago to help curb my doggie's recurring urinary tract infections. I had read that a water fountain may increase their water intake as dogs are attracted to running water. They were right, she drank from it immediately after I got it set up! It has definitely increased her water intake since I got it and that alone has made this a worthwhile purchase. The price is right well.The thing a hate about it, though, is the frequent cleaning required to keep it working well. In between cleanings, I can usually get by with just changing the water & then doing a fast soapy wash once in awhile without taking it completely apart. But when a thorough cleaning is required, you literally have to take apart every piece of the product to get all the "gunk" out of every area that may be clogged. This means not only taking apart the motor completely, but also the tube, tube housing and every other part that is detachable. It does take time to get it all completely clean and is a pain to put all back together, though I've gotten pretty good at it now! They don't tell you this in the instructions, which are terrible in the first place, but I learned the hard way after much frustration when the unit wouldn't work right. All the parts are prone to getting clogged since water sits in it for extended periods.The other thing I don't like about it is that the hole the water comes out of is too close to one side, making it so that water splashes when they drink from it & soaks whatever pad you have underneath. I actually have 3 pet bowl pads that I rotate for when one of them gets soaking wet. I think it would work much better if the hole were placed in the middle.All-in-all, I love the simplicity of the design and that it has greatly increased my doggie's water intake. And the unit does work very well as long as you keep it clean. I don't know if other water fountains would be less of a hassle, but I plan to try perhaps a ceramic fountain when this one wears out to see if those might work any better.

Final update: After nine months this is still working perfectly. Very easy to clean, the parts snap together in perfect alignment, it continues to run quietly and the kitties love it. I clean it about every two weeks.Update after four days: Working well, I have two cats and they took to it immediately, no hesitation. This runs silent except when the water is low and then you'll hear a gurgling noise. Fill the base to the top level mark then fill the tank. I have noticed this seems to be a generic type product, I found the same item (same price) with different branding at several locations on Amazon. Perhaps that is why it is so difficult to find replacement filters. After much ado, I did locate them and here's the Amazon link. I have the LED model, which shines a pretty blue light on the stream of water, which serves to assure that the pump is working at full power. I was afraid my guys would be skittish, but the real scardy cat came over and started drinking without hesitation.I plan to use this as a replacement for a long-lived, but still serviceable, stainless steel Drinkwell 360, which has a lot of parts which require constant cleaning. This fountain will require cleaning, but it's small size probably will make the job much quicker.Tip: Rinse the charcoal filter under the tap before use to avoid (harmless) particles from entering the bowl.Tip: Fill the basin first, THEN mount the filled reservoir.Tip: I marked the fill/refill lines with a dark marker, it makes it easier to see the water levels.I should note this was shipped only in the factory box with no other exterior packaging, and that box wasn't even sealed. No damage, though.I will update this review after a few days of use, but initial impressions are just fine.

I'm only writing this review because every fountain link on Amazon India site seems to have faulty products review.My product was also defective. Stopped working after a minute. This seems to be a systemic issue.
