Worked great on our epic adventure!
Our pickup did not have a CD player, but did have an FM radio. This player transmits the CD content over one of 5 selectable FM radio frequencies. We found that if you were in range of a strong FM station for the frequency you are playing on, you need to choose a more 'open' frequency on the player and your FM radio. We did not listen to music so we can't judge that aspect of the player performance, but we played audio CD books and it worked magnificently!

Not worth your hard earned cash
This cd player worked great for a year and started to give me trouble. I used my JBL headphones because theirs were $3 models. Then 1 month after the 18 month warranty was up I turned it on and pressed play and the disc would spin for about 15 seconds and then shut down. I should have purchased a brand name but paid $50 for this one thinking since it was this expensive it must be a good one and save me $10 or so off a brand name. I checked first with amazon and I got my answer. "This item is no longer under warranty." So within a little over a year of course it was useless. My fault not going with extended warranty, but it still would have quit playing. If you are watching your $$ in this day and age do not purchase this player. I will never use this company again, just another scam company on amazon!

Good cd
Good looking and with no complicated set up neededThe sound is good and has a lot of nice features such anti-skip, auto resume. BUT The black CD player buttons are hard to see in a dark car. However, is great for the price and love the size. I can throw it in my bag when I'm going for a bike ride. Overall it is great :)

Solid Portable Disk; FM Attenuation for Cars Just OK
This is an attractive little player with nice styling and a great temporary memory function for anti-skip. Holds a charge long, too. But if you’re looking for a solution for cars with no CD player or aux port, you’re better off spending more and getting one that plugs into a USB A port in your head unit. The whole point of playing CDs instead of streaming through your phone or playing music stored on it is to enjoy the lossless quality. As soon as you start attenuating with your stereo, you deal with crackling and interference even if you’re set on the least-used channel on the dial. Why inconvenience yourself just to say you’re playing an actual CD, but not have the audio benefits? The USB units may cost twice as much, but they’re worth it and you’ll be much happier. And, no, there is no Blue Tooth adapter or 3.5 inch stereo to USB cable that will allow this or any other portable player to connect to your car’s system. It’s not manufactured as of this writing, so don’t even waste your time or money.

Enjoying it Very Much
I bought this about two months ago and may edit/add on to/ this review over time. As of right now, I am quite delighted with it and I have been enjoying it every day.I wanted a chargeable portable cd player and though a little pricier, this one was worth the investment. It charges well and is easy to use and maintain. It's fun to go through all the equalization functions, figuring out which makes each cd sound the best - I also enjoy being able to see the CD run and stop so I can admire their designs. All of my CDs, new, old and secondhand have worked and sound great.Upon first impression, I was a little concerned. When closed, there is a thin gap between the lid and the base and was worried about anything getting in and affecting the quality. Also, the earphones were missing - luckily it wasn't any of the wires. So far, I have been listening with my own headphones at home without problems. Still, I would recommend and should I need to - would buy it again.Thank you for making this. And happy listening.
