Six months. Still working. Healthy cats. Yes, I will buy again.
I have four cats and Advantage had stopped working completely. The house and cats were hopping with fleas. It was horrible. I vacuumed. And flea combed. And used various products in the house short of fogging which is impractical when you have four cats living there. The vet's assistant had suggested these collars as an option. Came to Amazon because the price was much better and I needed multiple collars. Then I saw the reviews where people claimed their cats died and developed horrible skin reactions. That was a bit offputting. I hesitated. But the fleas were very bad and the vet's office--which I trust--had recommended them. I ordered three collars, figuring that I'd put them on my healthiest youngest kitties first (ages 11, 7 and 4--weights 10 to 16 pounds) first. My 14 year old cat (6 pounds) loves to be combed, so I would just comb her. When the collars arrived I, for perhaps the first time in my life, read the package insert that discussed the company's trials of the product. The only notable side effect observed in testing (as I recall it) was some dermatitis. It wasn't a lot of the trial participants but it was observed, and this explains the folks whose cats lost hair. Encouraged by the package insert, I put the collars on the cats. Initially, I was afraid that one of them was getting lethargic. Then I decided he had always been that lethargic and I was just paying more attention because I was afraid I was doing something that might kill my cats. Ultimately, the only effect these collars had was killing fleas. It took a couple of weeks because the fleas had gotten so bad, but they went away. About 99%. And the cool thing is, they also went away on my one cat on which I did not put a collar. Just having three collared flea killing machines wandering the house protects my fourth cat as well. She gets the occasional flea, but it's rare. And while I used to comb her twice a day to get the fleas off now I comb her once a week and find maybe one or two. Which seems pretty unavoidable given that she and two of the other cats go outside. It's been about six months now so the collars are supposed to last another couple of months. Hoping that by December there won't be fleas around to kill and that I can wait until spring for the next round of collars. Great product. Less expensive than Advantage for comparable months of effectiveness. And works like Advantage used to work when it was new.

Easy, long lasting protection
This collar works great! It started killing fleas fast and has kept my cat protected for months. No mess, no smell, and it’s super easy to use. My cat had no irritation and seems totally comfortable wearing it. Definitely worth it for 8 months of peace of mind!

Works like magic!
Hands down the best tick collar out there. My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat and really struggles with ticks on him considering we live in the country. I’ve tried multiple different brands of tick/flea collars and after two weeks, my cat would have ticks again. I bought this Seresto collar months ago and he has not had one tick on him since. Seriously, a game changer for your cats who like a little outdoor adventures. I will definitely be buying again in the future. Worth the money!!

I love this thing so freaking much!
This is freaking amazing! My cat is an indoor outdoor cat. He has long fur on top of that. Before I found about Seresto, I’ve been using advantage. Advantage is pretty expensive. Four dosages and it costed me the same price as a seresto. What’s worst it only works on fleas and not ticks. I didn’t know about the no tick part until this year. As the weather gets warmer, my cat stays outside longer. He came back with one or two ticks for three days straight. I never have a flea or tick problem until now. Thats when I found out that advantage doesn’t take care of the ticks. It also doesn’t help that my cat has long fur so it’s even harder to spot them. I tried to thoroughly check his coat everyday but I’m worried that what if I miss one. Worse is what if he brings them home and gets it on the bed or something.I did a lot of digging around and see that the ones that does kill ticks are either prescribed by vets or have a relatively low ratings. Then I stumble on Seresto. I heard a lot of people didn’t like it because their cats have adverse reactions to it. I was worried an about the same thing but then say why not try it out.Ever since I got seresto, I have not seen a single tick! I checked the skin around his collar just in case his skin is irritated but so far, roughly 1 month in…no adverse reactions. It works amazing. I put it underneath his other collar and make sure that neither one is too tight.I highly recommend this especially to cats who spend time outdoor. It gives me a lot of reassurance. Helps protect not only your cat but you as well. The price is actually not bad considering that it last 8 months. That’s half the price I would have paid had I use other treatments.I do want to say that you should monitor your cat the first few days to be sure it’s safe for your cat to use. While my cat was fine with it, it could be different for you.

Highly recommended
I will save it for the time that I was using it. This is a good color to have, I have now switched to a Vet product that covers more than what the collar can. But they were impressed because this does a good amount of coverage for just over-the-counter. I recommend these to anyone who is trying to protect their outdoor kitty from fleas. That is what I got it for. This is worth it. While my cat very first usage did have a reaction, after a few days, there was no longer any problems as she got used to it. The durability of it is good, the ease of use is simple as well as removal. I did not really notice a smell or if there was it did not bother me. I cannot attest to tick resistance as we do not have ticks in my area. Even though I am switching to a different product this will always be my back up choice.

Worked for One Cat, But Bad Reaction in Another
I had mixed results with the Seresto collar. It worked perfectly for one of my cats—no fleas, no ticks, no issues, and it was super convenient. However, my elderly cat had a severe allergic reaction. Within days, he lost fur around his neck, developed scabs, and seemed very uncomfortable. I had to remove it immediately and treat the area. While it might be effective, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for older or sensitive cats. Please use caution and monitor your pet closely if you try it. No smell though and easily put on them both.
