Case for Moto G4 / G4 Plus - Bear Motion Slim Back Cover Case for Moto G4 / G4 Plus (Gray)

First off, the only reason I need a case for this phone is because the camera sticks out a bit and I wanted something to raise above that and keep it from scratching. I originally bought a different case - one of the soft TPU inner, hard plastic outer cases. It was very protective but also very bulky and this phone is not the most svelte phone on the market to start with. The soft rubber corners made sliding it in and out of a pocket cumbersome.This case is perfect for my needs. Slim cover made of a harder, more plastic like material but with a nice sandpaper like texture to aid in gripping. Slides in and out of a pocket nicely but provides some added grip. It has a very slightly raised front to protect the screen when you lay the phone down and the back is just thick enough to stick out past the camera module. It could probably stand to be a tad thicker as it BARELY comes out past the camera module on the back and past the front screen on the front, but it works for me.As for access to slots and buttons - the top and bottom are completely open and not covered at all. The case curves around the top and bottom just enough to grip the phone but don't really cover the top/bottom. The power and volume buttons on the side have holes to access them directly rather than rubber button covers like other cases, That's fine by me.If you need drop protection, this probably isn't your case because it is a very slim plastic shell, but that is precisely what I was looking for.

I've owned Bear Motion covers before (HTC One) so when I saw that they made a version for the Moto G4, I jumped on the deal.What I love about it: Slim and lightweight. protects the phone but doesn't add the bulk. Simple and easy to put on, just snaps on and that's it. The case itself even has grainy textures that makes the phone easier to grip and adds traction.Some Cons: Plastic pieces by the buttons can break easily if not careful. I don't mind it that much since that plastic part is more bothersome than not when it was just. It's a win/lose situation, you lose the ascetic appeal but gain a little bit of functionality back. Over time it will start to wear down/chip (about 1 year of use usually) but you do get what you pay for and for this price point, it's a good case.

I absolutely LOVE the way this case feels. It has a very grippy texture that feels great in the hand. It can be so hard to find the perfect phone case, but for the Moto G4 Plus I am 100% I have found it.

Excellent grip quality, but there is no protection from drops or laying the phone face down. Buttons are also uncovered, which for myself was a downer. Between ordering the case and when I got it in the mail my G4 power button started to become loose, which I am now reading about all over the internet. This is obviously not Bear Motion's fault, but prohibits me from using the case since I need one that covers the buttons now.

Fit perfectly, not bulky, love the handfeel at the back side. For protection, don't think it can protect the phone when it drop but I know that upfront. I chose this because of its lightness.

I originally purchased the Moto G4/Moto G4 Plus Clear Case, [2Pack] Simpeak but the product was slippier than my phone. I finally purchased the Case for Moto G4 / G4 Plus -from Bear Motion. It has a good grippy surface that will keep your phone in your hands. The Tar Heel Blue cover looks great too!

Nice fitting, very slim case for Moto G4. The case is textured providing a non-slip grip. While the level of protection is probably less than larger, padded cases, for those who value a compact case this one should serve them well.

Got it for my son. Fun color and easy to hold on to. Good fit and design. Would buy again and recommend to a friend.
