The texture was fabulous
I loved this treat. The flavor was subtle, yet flavorful. and I absolutely loved the texture. I had it for several months before I opened the box and it was still very fresh. The syrup made it especially good but I wasn’t a big fan of that powder stuff, but that’s just my opinion. I will order some again, very yummy

Culture Relationship of Japan
Amazon, could we please have "Fukuyadou Honpo: Kyoto Love Story" back, please pair with like studies and relations at compensation of learning with improved enjoyment education.I sew to television shows. Started with Netflix... 0.1 version, worked at a well known television service middle man--- provided study materials for proper business support and interests, still landed here in B-land which still adopted me like a third child from the Twitch community support center of long lasting survivors who still need to do what they do to keep on going.Wagashi is very interesting. In botany- the study of plants, even in basic citizen education paid for and supported by the citizens, we learn that plant cells are square. The have a very special substance that provides them the ability to stand erect and become stronger against the harsh forces of nature--- it's called fiber and it helps us poop. "Monsters vs Aliens" (Movie) B.o.b. finds the love of his life, then realizes she is a lie... she is jello. Jello is a substance made from animal skins and an acid such as lemon juice. Pair Wagashi against Jello. Wow, look at that strength! Wagashi is plant based. Kyoto Love story is a special Japanese sweet shop of tradition that is fighting to hang on against the modern era of chemical processed food for texture, longevity, and addictive tastes while adding pulp of tree to boost up the 'values' that we cannot actually break down or use. If you try the mochi of Japanese competition of the chemical WTF food we have, please come out of the fight with red bean--- seriously they need to be paired. I cannot afford that fight, nor can I afford those tiny candies that are literally required for someone like me to keep going at times. Kyoto Love Story is a very healthy outlook on family, tradition, and the sacrifices made to keep Japan alive. Who is going to save us from ourselves?!

Good nice and cold and not sweet.
I loved this so much actually thinking of getting more since it tasted wonderful cold. I really liked the kinako, which added a roasted flavor to it and since it wasn't sweet I could actually enjoy this. I dislike sweets and this was nice to not get a shock to the system. I live in a hot and humid climate in the southern part of the United States this was a wonderful treat for a warm summer day. I definitely recommend it for people who don't particularly like sweets.

Like a bitter non sweet green tea jello
This just wasn't for me in terms of flavor. Packaging, presentation, freshness were all good. I just didn't like the taste which to me, tasted bitter and not sweet at all and kinda like a hit of green tea.

Best
After purchasing another brand, I still like this one. It’s firm. There are 4 small boxes total. Looks small but mighty. I share Half with another person because it’s high in carbs but the little taste of it is very delicious with the peanut powder that comes with it. I tried eating the full container and I feel stuff for a dessert. The chewiness/firmness/texture is great compared to another kind I bought. Definitely a return customer.

Delicious
I was very hesitant because I didn't know the flag😅r, texture, etc. But after trying a bite, I fell in love. It's chewy, sweet, and great for hot days. The powder is a soy bean powder. Not peanut like I originally thought.

Delightful experience with my loved ones
Wrapped up so prettily, a treat for the eyes as well as for the tastebuds. Got four bricks separated into two smaller boxes plus all the toppings and even little forks. Is it weird that I like the kuzumochi even without toppings lol? A rather delicate and lightly sweet and starchy jelly, which is made all the more delectable by the potent sweetness of the brown sugar and fragrant kinako. My family really enjoyed it too, we all agreed that it was surprisingly filling per serving!
