Presto Pressure Cooker Sealing Ring With Air Vent 4 Qt.

Quedó perfecto ya que es el empaque original. Así seguirá funcionando la antigua Presto 46. Cuando compren empaques para su olla de presión Presto asegúrense que el modelo aparezca en la lista de la caja del empaque (sealing ring). El modelo de la mía aparece en la parte de abajo de la olla.

Part numbar and models it fits are NOT described on the Amazon website. It does not fit my 4 qt Presto pressure cooker 01241 which requires part 09903. Very poor listing on Amazon.

This sealing ring was just what I needed. I wasn’t sure if I could find one for my OLD Presto pressure cooker, but this one fit my 53 year old pot well. Model numbers were listed and that was a big help. It shipped quickly, too! Thanks.

In the product question list, it was stated that this would fit the Presto A403A Model. I measured both the original and new seal rings, and this replacement seal is 2mm thinner in width. Also, when I placed the seal in the Presto lid, you can see in the photos (initial placement and final fit) that the ring diameter seemed to be a bit too wide. I pushed on the seal, forcing it around the groove until it finally fit completely within the groove. After putting the new seal in place, and closing the lid, it seems to fit tightly on the pressure cooker. So, it takes some effort to place the seal in the lid....you can’t just easily pop it in place like the original seal. So, now I need to use this pressure cooker to see how well the new seal holds. If I have any problems, I will update my review.

My pressure cooker is avocado green and was a gift from my mother when I graduated from college in 1978. Years ago I replaced the ring and pressure release valve. Even though I had no problem with either now, I thought it long past time to replace them. Ordering was easy and putting them in place was easy. Why did I neglect it? Even though I have instant pot pressure cookers, this old 4qt Presto stovetop cooker is the best, and I am pleased that Presto continues to make parts. I will order more just in case Presto discontinues.
