Excellent product
I received this just yesterday and I am a novice at wood turning but experienced in equipment machined to meet high standards in the medical imaging field. This product could meet them. It is so well balanced that vibration is at a minimum . I have a recently purchased WEN 3421 lathe, This chuck fit perfectly on the head stock and at 3/4 of max speed there was no vibration. That is approximately 2400 rpm. from what I have read that's about where most work is done for spindles. It comes out of the box with the larger jaws mounted firmly. I was skeptical that the Allen T wrench may strip out when I tried to loosen the screws holding the jaws on and was plesantly surprised when the wrench and screws were hardened and a perfect fit for each other. All jaws are numbered as is the location for each on the chuck body and jaw no. 1 in each set has a alignment pin to match the slot in the chuck so you can't go wrong. Aligning the holes in the jaws to the chuck is a no brainer, the jaws are slotted to match a slide in the chuck. I mounted a 5/8"square x4"long piece ofr oak loosely in the chuck and when I tightened the chuck it mounted perfectly by itself. Using a gouge to round it off a bit did not loosen the jaws at all and no vibration was noted. I was impressed with such quality and can recommend this chuck to even experienced wood turners. And the seller is easy to contact if you have questions. I recommend you buy one now before the price goes up. The accessory tools are also high quality.

Works great with Jet 1015 Mini Lathe
Works great for my purposes, and no issues with the screws for the jaws being too short/long. Fit perfectly. One of the jaws has an alignment pin that needs to be matched up, but everything is fine if you use the alignment numbers 1-4 printed on the parts.I've been using it to make drawer knobs and discovered that a section of an old bicycle inner tube helps to protect the wood from being marred by the jaws. That definitely wouldn't be an issue with a bowl or larger workpiece.

Joy to the World Not.
Looks like decent engineering and production, but I was so looking forward to it fitting my headstock. (1” x 8 TPI.) To my chagrin, it’s more like 1 1/2 x 8 TPI. But never fear, they included a…rats, the adaptor just drops 1” down to 3/4” :::sigh::: Some days I should just go to Lowe’s.

Wrong size mounting hole
The media could not be loaded. It said it has a 1 inch by 8 threads per inch mounting hole. It is way larger than that. The reducer adapter is too small to fit the mounting hole. I can't use it unless I can get an adapter or I'll have to return it.

Poor choice
Opening and closing truck with rods is not a good option

Turning upgraded
Only chuck available with m33x3.5mm thread which matches my lathe (inc. adopter for 1x 8tpi thread chucks) ..only issue is self centering mechanism however it can be adopted after few days while playing with it..thank you so much.. It will feed your turning hunger ..

Lightweight but it works.
I wanted a second scroll chuck for my lathe as I make segmented bowls and i don’t want to remove work from the chuck during glue up of successive layers. This second chuck allows me to get on with other projects while glue dries. Not sure I would want as my main chuck but as a backup, it’s fine. When it first arrived I realised it had no chuck key, rather you insert two rods into the chuck and rotate in opposite directions. As first this rather concerned me as I wondered about the possibility of it working loose, but after testing a few times, it seems fine. For the price, I am quite happy.
