This is a top quality bit of kit, I can understand why Kensington are the brand leader when it comes to laptop locks. I especially like the interchangeable lock pins which means this will fit any of the 3 slot types, meaning I won't need to worry if I have a different laptop in future. It was easy enough to set up and can be locked and unlocked from my laptop in a matter of seconds. The tensile cable itself is robust enough to deter a chancer but someone who is determined enough could cut through the cable eventually, but this is true of any cable locks (I'm thinking bike locks that are similar). I was surprised by how light it is which means carrying it in a laptop bag won't be a problem. It wasn't the cheapest option but I am optimistic that it will last me a good number of years.

Great for securing laptops and other tech devices. The adapters make it extra versatile.

Great product as you would expect from Kensington. The option to charge the fitting is great, not realising that two of my devices needed different sizes.

Adjuster screw mechanism seized up when trying to change the combination for the first time. Very poor quality. Avoid.

Fixes to both my old laptop with Kensington wedge and my new laptop with N17 wedge. Easy to use.

Extremely fragile and tricky to click in/out of laptop. Much worse than the regular Kensington locks we have used for years. Also broke in first week of use a very flimsy. Save your time and buy the standard one not the multi-tip one one if you want to save yourself hassle.

Il s'agit donc du haut de gamme, offrant une résistance et un niveau de sécurité très élevés. Il faut en effet s'armer de patience pour couper un tel câble avec une pince... Il s'agit ici d'un câble universel s'adaptant aux 3 différentes encoches de sécurité principales et existantes sur le marché, ce qui explique son prix supérieur à la moyenne. Si vous connaissez le type d'encoche utilisé sur votre appareil, il est peut-être plus judicieux de commander un modèle disposant uniquement de l'embout qui vous intéresse, afin de limiter vos dépenses. Mais je vous recommande de rester chez Kensington si vous voulez éviter les mauvaises surprises...

Bought it because my old standard Kensington Cable Lock does not fit my new Laptop with nano-sized slot. Works as advertised.

Lo recomiendo al 100% muy útil

Need this when I set up a laptop computer under the open hood of my show car, displaying a looping Playlist of relevant videos. Easy to set up, & take down at the shows end. Always like the quality of Kensington products. A little more expensive compared to other brands, but worth it - IMHO.
