Great deal!
Great deal on a very nice pocket knife! I used a very small amount of bike chain lube (rock N roll gold, also on amazon) to help break in and smooth the action. For EDC or light duty the axis lock should be just fine. Very sharp blade, will see how it holds up over time, but should be easy to sharpen. Ergos in hand are great, feels good to hold since its not super thin like some EDCs. At about $15 can't go wrong with this.UPDATE: Still love this knife, especially the ergos in hand. Picked up a damascus version which is very nice, and no need for lube on that one. Will update again after a few months of use.

Perfect
I bought this knife for my girlfriend. She shows cattle and needed something to cut open feed and haybales when I'm not there for her to use my knife. She also doesn't like my heavier knife and doesn't have deep pockets, so I started some research. I'm really into knives so I searched and did a lot of thinking about how she would want a knife. She needed something lightweight, smaller, easy to use, a firm lock, not too flashy, easy to clean, and had a clip for it. This knife checked off all those boxes! She loves her knife and has no complaints about the function, and neither do I. It is an affordable knife that has many good attributes that I would recommend to most. Not to mention how easy it is for me to sharpen, she's not that advanced on knives like I am, so I have to sharpen it from time to time. One of the easiest sharpening jobs i have had to do! she's had it for about a month now and I've just had to sharpen it for the first time after daily use.Summary, great knife, good value, she's happy. Thanks!

Grinds like crazy.
For the price, it's serviceable. The Good:-Ergonomics of the grip and blade are good. Feels nice in the hand. Scoop on the back locates your thumb for power and control when carving and scraping.-Weight. It's got a little heft, but it's not a dumbbell dragging your pants down.-Edge seems sharp, have to see how it holds up.-Pivot is light and free.-Decent lock-up.The Bad:-Pivot grinds like crazy. Not sure if I got one that was dunked in sand and grit, or if the finish on the moving parts is about as smooth as a bag of nails.-LOUD. Hold the cross-lock and flick it open, PING. Like someone just spiked a quarter. Same with closing again.-Weak/poor closed-detent on the blade prevents getting enough power to use the flipper stud without having it stall halfway (at best). Which is crazy with how loose the pivot is.For eleven bucks, you don't expect wonders. But this knife misses a LOT of important points, that's keeping it from being a pleasant EDC.

Great Inexpensive Knife
I have bought many knives the past several months. My go-to mechanism has been a button lock. This is a cross-bar lock that I have not bought. At this price point it seemed like a good way to test a knife with that mechanism. While I still like the button lock knives better, this one has been fantastic. I use it around the house on jobs that may be a bit rough on the blade and I don't want to hurt the button locks. The blade is very sharp and slices though cardboard without a problem. Definitely a good knife that is holding up to all the jobs I've thrown at it.
