Great inexpensive fix for a tattered headliner.
I was quite happy with the price and quality of this headliner fabric. After removing the headliner shell, I peeled off the old fabric, used a wire brush attachment on the drill to remove the foam backing, vacuumed and wiped it down afterwards. I bought two different headliner spray adhesives from two different auto stores. The job took most of the second can. One was the 3M, the other was Permatex. The Permatex stayed tacky longer, but both worked. It took a second person when applying the fabric. There are no chances to reposition it. Getting the 4 foot piece instead of the 3 foot size was a good decision for the standard cab 1998 Ford F-150.

Looks Great! But WATCH A VIDEO!
Ok. So I did it wrong once and right once. The first time, I tried to spray adhesive between the headliner and the roof, and it simply wouldn’t stay. Then I found a video on-line. What it showed me was that headliners are a lot of work, but also, this can be done without making a mess. Remove trim, remove the entire headliner in one piece. Pull off the old fabric, then CLEAN THE HEADLINER TUB with a brush! After that, spray, lay fabric, spray, lay fabric. Trim the edges with a razor blade and put it back in! It’s not easy, but it’s Simple! This stuff gave my classic Jeep a fresh look, (and me the headroom I need!)

Great installation in our 1995 Ford pick up truck!
After reading many reviews, I chose this item for a 1995 Ford pick up. I was a little nervous after reading reviews about wrinkles so I laid it out in a spare room and placed books on top of it over the winter. I thought I was going to have to steam it, but it wasn’t necessary. My husband said it was a great installation. Very satisfied.

Order at least a yard too long
The material is very nice and has a proper headliner foam backing. It is as easy to work with as far as concavities such as the sunroof and visors. Would have been a 5 star review but the material cut sucked. I should have ordered an extra foot because the ends were not cut even kind of straight so it ended up being too short for my van. I was able to do my A4 but that took a much smaller cut so I ended up wasting half of my first order.

Great product
Very great headliner fabric, super soft and pretty and great adhesion, no problems even after several months. We used this on my husbands car I helped him glue it on lol basically did it myself lol but it’s definitely really nice. I’m definitely wanting to put this in my car now. Definitely a good product for the price !

Good Replacement Headliner
Got this for my 2004 Hummer H2 & never installed it because I sold it to quickly. Didn’t even take the headliner out of the box but I did open it & feel it & looked at the color & was happy with it & trust the size dimensions were correct. Looked & felt high quality!

NOT for use in direct sunlight
I installed the headliner, upper gauge cluster, & side of windshield pillars around mid May. The material itself was easy to work with, & provided plenty of cushion from the foam backing. The issue comes when you have the material in the sun. As you can see from my pictures, this WAS the same color black, & has now faded in just 5 months. The windshield side pillars are also fading, so I will need to replace the fabric there also. The headliner looks the same as when I installed it, since it’s not in the sun, but it makes me wonder about how fast it will deteriorate.. For the redo I will most likely purchase genuine Alcantara, since I know it will not fade like this has. Moral of the story? you get what you pay for!

Don’t use to much glue
Would have been good if my husband knew what he was doing
