Dr Thomastik S32S33 Spirocore Cello Tungsten G&C Value Pack

One thing I do not like this string as much is that when I have to play very soft, the sound and tone from the string lose its core and warmth. It is good when it is played forte or mess forte.

This is not tungsten, its just a spiral core. Absolutely not the same strings. This is a rip off.

On time delivery, excellent price. Packaging in envelope was flimsy, should have been in a box given the cost of these strings ($175 for 2 strings). Fortunately strings were not damaged.

I had waited too long to replace my cello strings so having them arrive fast was great.

Bought these for daughter who's a cello performance major in college. Recommendation of her professor. They really wake the cello up--much louder and more clear. Expensive, but worth it for musicians playing at a certain level.

This string broke in less than three months with minimum usage. sad that it can't be returned,

使用しているのが娘なので、具体的な使用感やレビューにはならないと思いますが、５年くらいは使用しているようです。現状に合致しているんだと思います。演奏場所はソロ・アンサンブル・オーケストラと様々です。余裕があれば、それぞれに合った弦を選ぶのかもしれませんが…。また、他の弦を試したこともありましたが、またこの弦に戻ってきました。他の方に薦めるかの判断は私にはできませんが、使い易い良い弦なんだと思います。
