Another brags about the "black" growth on the mushroom-does this mushroom have that?

This product did nothing for me

does this need to be kept in the fridge?

All Host Defense products are shelf stable.

If you want to get the greatest bang for the buck do you recommend this or the capsules?

Both Host Defense - Chaga (1 ounce) Extract provides approximately 30 servings per bottle and the Host Defense - Chaga (60 capsules) provides 30 servings per bottle. It really comes down to personal preference. The (1 ounce) extract would be more cost effective, if you do not mind the taste.
