The padding / support in the sole is very comfortable and the shoes are stylish enough for work. Aside from the size issue which is only a problem for me (or people with bunions) is that the bottom of the shoe does not have a lot of grip. On tile and polished floors it is a bit slippery, but it's perfectly fine on carpet. It fit great and I loved it. I tried to get the exact same shoe but Amazon did not have it in my size. So I decided to go with this one. MISTAKE!! The shoe fit except for the top part that comes across the top of your foot was extremely tight. I walked around my room for about 10 minutes thinking it would get better but it cut the top of my foot. I could not stand it. I had an intension and red mark across the top of both feet and it hurt!!!! OMG!!! Since I have a flat foot the slight heel is enough to keep me from getting any arch pain. I am able to wear them all day without any discomfort. I deducted a star because the leather is really tight when you first get them and they do cut across the top of your foot the first couple of times you wear them. I had to exclusively wear them with tights (the tights provided a barrier between my skin and the shoe and prevented rubbing across the top of my food) for the first few times that I wore them until they loosened up.
