Edupress(EP-3396) Mathological Liar Game, Grade 3

Great for kids who need extra help with word problems!
We really like this game! It’s very appropriate for grades three through five. My kids are getting better at math word problems and they enjoyed playing. Basically, there are four cards per case (50 cases in the box) each case has 4 statements on the back and you have to figure out who is telling the truth or lying… great for critical thinking!!!

My students love it
I'm subbing for the advanced math teacher who is on maternity leave. The students in my second and third grade classes love this game. I expect it will come in handy when I go back to just substitute teaching in different classes each day as well. An easy way to use up any extra time in a day that is also educational.

My 8 year old loves it!
Fun and grade level appropriate, however consider that a 3rd grade set assumes they have an understanding of 3rd grade math. So maybe buy these games at the end of the school year to review skills over summer break or be prepared to do some teaching. But overall my kid loves these.

Figure out the game and it’s over
This one is much easier for the students to figure out and they played it all the time. The problem is once I figure out the game, it’s basically over.

Questions are pretty easy
I think the questions are a bit easy for the third grade. Maybe they would be better for the beginning of the year or for kids who are below level. I considered getting the fourth grade but it has skills that we do not cover.

Students are tasked with - Can you find 'Who Done It?'
Students are put to the task to figure out who made the mathematical errors to identify the culprit in the mystery. I like the fact that there are often more than one culprit. Each student is responsible for their part!

Great game
I teach grade 3 and my students love this game. It's just challenging enough to keep them interested, practices their multiplication skills and critical thinking. A fantastic option for fast finishers or morning activity.
