On-Stage DS7200QRB Quick-Release Adjustable Desktop Microphone Stand

This microphone stand is very well built, IMHO, looks great and does the job well. Nice that it has a height adjustment. Bottom of the stand has a nice hefty weight to it.

I'm already familiar with the On-Stage brand from Guitar Center, decent enough quality that's affordable. I decided to spend the extra $2 on this model for the Quick Release to easily press and adjust height.I will say though that it's min height is 9.5" which is slightly taller than the dust cap of my amp speaker, so the 2nd one I'm ordering is non QR that's ½" shorter.Quality product, very study, threads fit standard mic holder perfectly. Very pleased.

Picked this one up recently and have been using it with the Rode Podmic for Podcasting. Works great. I didn't really think I would need the Quick-Release and originally was going to pick up the standard version, but I'm really glad I got this one because I find myself adjusting the height quite a lot. The release mechanism works just fine on mine. I'm pretty happy with this one and will definitely be picking up another as I add more mics to my podcasting setup. Definitely recommend this one.

I like the quick-release feature. Purchased this to use as table-top stand for my Yamaha StagePas mixer in conjunction with the Yamaha BMS10A Mic Stand Adapter. Works like a charm and gets the mixer to the perfect height to "float" over my laptop for easy sound adjustment during karaoke/DJ gigs.

On Stage makes high quality, inexpensive musical instrument accessories that just work right, right out of the box. For my home studio, it fits right in and the Quick-Release grip feels really well made. Like it will hold up for multiple adjustments for years to come. Sometimes inexpensive is the way to go.

This is an excellent buy in an on stage mic stand. I'm using it with a heavy EV RE320 microphone in a shock mount, and it is perfectly stable and balanced. I like the quick release feature, and compared to other stands, this is just as good and a great price.

Short and sweet, this is an excellent mic stand. I REALLY like the quick-release mechanism, which works extremely well. I'm using this mic stand with an AKG Perception 420 mic, positioned directly in front of my Fender amp (dual 12" speakers), for recording purposes. It works perfectly and is very stable. Highly recommended.

Works great and is well made great for my in house use should last a very long time

Looked really good in the photos but upon opening has poor quality casting on the base with sharp edges.The mechanism to adjust the microphone is plastic with a spring behind it. Just put together with poor tolerances. The adjustment clamp should be a clamp not spring loaded as this will mover over time. They can't even apply the stick on the product straight so it tells you a lot about the QC.

So...24hrs ago, I bought the Avatar Desktop Microphone Stand...and returned it within an hour of receiving it; useless for my AT2020 XLR mic. A google search led me to a blog, which led to THIS product! For a start, the box weighed MUCH more than the Avatar; good sign! The circular, rubber-footed base is 6" wide and HEAVY. The clutch-controlled mic pole is sturdy and as it has the "standard" thread, I didn't need to use a thread-adapter. Loaded up my AT2020 with its shock mount...NO tilt...NO wobble! Don't buy "that"; buy THIS! Currently it's a hair cheaper than "that", BUT MUCH BETTER QUALITY!
