SunexTools Sunex 3810 10-Inch Super Heavy Duty Pipe Wrench with Ductile Cast Iron Handle

I'm a homeowner, not a contractor, and needed this for a probable one-time fix. My heating oil tank level indicator was broke, so I could only tell how much oil I had left by putting a stick in it. I decided to replace the combination level indicator\whistle alarm with two separate devices. I had to put a three foot pipe on the handle of this wrench to get more leverage. The fittings were very tight. They came lose with no problems, the wrench was no worse for the wear, and I saved a lot of money not hiring someone to do it for me. I have no idea how it would hold up under daily use, but for me, it was a great solution.

This is more wrench than I will ever need in my lifetime, I'm sure, but it will certainly come in handy if there is ever a need for a tool of this strength and size. I'm not sure what I expected...not as big, not as heavy? But it is exactly what is described...a 24" monster of a wrench. If you have a need for a tool of this kind, I can vouch for the build and (I assume) durability. The teeth appear sharp in a way that it would really grip whatever you are intending to use this against. The only reason I am between 4 and 5 stars is because I think that the aluminum version would probably provide the same function with less effort exertion on the user's behalf.

18 inch wrench is a solid piece of metal. Used it to twist off a cylinder from an office chair. Like butter.
