Fits jdm H23A
Installed on h23a. Fits as it should.Comes with instructions all though if you know how to replace your timing belt it's not really needed. just use thread locker on bolts and locking nut.But this little part made installing a new timing belt so easy as supposed to using the manual tensioner assembly from the none VTEC motor. Also if you have or can get a short 13mm wrench it will help getting this thing to tension and locking in place while the motor is in the car. Other wise you'll have to take off the driver side motor mount to lower the motor a little bit to fit a normal wrench.

Timing belt will walk
This product is well made an should work as well as any manual tensioner out there. I did not realize the H22 timing belt needs to be "hand tight" not "tool tight" or you'll get belt walk. Kaizen speed has an anti walk kit but disassembling a 3rd time won't be happening. If I had known it'd be such a PITA to tension this belt I'd have went with another hydraulic unit.

Be sure you get the right tension on the belt before starting
The dislike is that it doesnβt tell you how tight to put your timing belt so when I cranked the car the belt almost came off the cam gears cause I didnβt know the tension on the belt but other than that it worked out great

recommend using blue loctite when you install this just for ...
I have been running this tensioner for over a year now with absolutely no problem. I do however, recommend using blue loctite when you install this just for some extra peace of mind that it will not back out and lose tension due to vibrations over time. This is just my own preference though and may or may not be needed. For the ($40) price of this tensioner you can't beat this deal.
