They took a long time to ship (as the listing warned) but the chair is excellent. Very comfortable! Generously sized too. Even at its highest setting it is reclined, can't sit up in it really, so it wouldn't be great to eat in. Fully reclined it makes me sleepy as it is so comfy, I think it will become a napping chair while camping. It seems sturdy, I will update my review if it proves otherwise later on. The design is clever. We are now considering whether to buy more chairs when we have the money to, or spend the time to build a copy. The quality is such that buying would be worth it.

I have used this kind of item before when I was young and I liked it a lot so I knew what I was getting. I love it because my back is curved forward which I like to make it straight. It may not be good for the back if someone has already straight or backward bending back. I remember reading a report that it may not be good for the backbone with prolonged use. Otherwise, it's probably the most comforting chair I have used. I put it in my living room so I can watch T.V. comfortably and take a nap. Also I use it on my deck during spring and summer time. My wife tried it and liked it so much that now she wants one, but she is not getting one because her back is completely opposite of mine. If it is for occasional use on a deck or backyard Bar-B-Que, I don't see any problem. As far as I can see, I should have ordered this long time ago, then I would not have my back curving forward. It looks sturdy, but I can not comment on durability, since I have not used it long enough.

Ordered 2 chairs - first one had a loose arm - not horrible - but not fabulous assembly. 2nd is put together better - but wood is slightly darker. Oddly - my order was split into 2 shipments a day apart. Canvas seems sturdy but could be wider. Fully assembled but a little tricky to "unfold" - overall a win for what I was looking for - reasonably priced, looks decent, comfy - now we will see how long it lasts

The company has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I needed a replacement canvas. Found the website and put an order in. Got no confirmation email but my card was charged. A week went by, nothing. I tried to find customer service. No phone number at all. Wrote to them using the email address. They confirmed no order was placed but they are refusing to reverse the charge. I’m being forced to dispute it through my credit card.Also The chair is fair at best. The bar at the bottom is not comfortable against one’s legs. The blue color is bright and gaudy.Don’t order from this company.

We’ve ordered these chairs many times for functions and gifts and have always been happy with our purchases. We always get the natural canvas ones and the wood and canvas match perfectly.

This is just the chair I wanted for reading the newspaper/hanging out on my deck. Love the color and the comfort of it, and it easily folds up to store against a wall inside if it rains. VERY pleased with this purchase! It's a little confusing to figure out how to fold and unfold, but once I did it a couple of times, It became easy!

I was so excited to try this chair. I was afraid w a few bad reviews but wanted to try what everyone said about comfort.Well, like some reviews said theirs came BROKEN, and so was mine cracked on one of the poles. ALSO, like another review , MY CHAIR Handles were screwed on backwards also! So I was unable to even position the chair correctly open to just see the shape. It was like a big bunch of wood sticks. I have two engineers in house who are pretty savvy on construction things, hoping just to see if they could rearrange the pegs or screw to set it correct. They both said no way this is a joke! Not that WE needed a manual, but for people who need directions…there was none in the box.Such a large box to now take to be returned and I am not even going to attempt rebuying! What a waste of my time! Good luck to the next buyers I hope they don’t just Rebox this one and try to send it back out! I feel like that is what happen to me!! I wish I took a pic of the stick mess of it sprawled across my living room on backwards. It was a 2 man job trying to see what the situation was see it was put together wrong!

A really beautiful classic chair. My back hurts all the time and camp chairs make it so much worse. This is lovely and comfortable. Only negative: pretty cumbersome to carry and large when folded for travel. Certainly wouldn't fit in a typical small trunk. Might be better for home use as opposed to taking on trips.
