I love it but,do not plug a Mini NES into this Splitter if using it on a TV.
I never had any problems plugging anything into this added Splitter on my TV until just yesterday when I hooked up my Classic Mini NES to it.Due to the low Voltage & Wattage coming from the Mini NES USB power adapter, this Splitter has too much much resistance for the Video Signal to get past it. The power on the Mini NES kept shutting off & on every few Seconds. I wasn't sure at 1st as to what was causing it to go off & on again. It could have been the Cable I used as well.I decided to unplug the Mini NES HDMI Cable from this Splitter to get away from what I felt could be a high resistance problem & not allowing the Video signal past it. I plugged the NES HDMI Cable directly into my TV & The problem is gone. Everything else that has more power like My cable Box & PS4 works fine connected to this splitter.. I found this problem with the Mini NES to be strange, but now understand why. It was only due to the USB Adapter low Voltage & Wattage output. It needs to be plugged directly into my TV. I wanted to share this info in case you have the same problem with your Mini NES plugged into this Splitter. I had no problems using this Splitter for my PC Monitors with the Mini NES.You may not have any problem at all. My TV may be different then yours It all depends on many things.

Expand the capability of your TV!
Seems like we all have so many components we need to hook up to our TV these days from cable, gaming systems to movie on demand boxes. This creates a large issue when having enough HDMI ports on the back of your TV to plug everything into and quite honestly it is a pain in the neck to have to access the back of your TV to connect and disconnect various devices. This has become a huge problem for my sister as she has two kids and they have many components they use on a regular basis. I suggested we look into a splitter. We ordered this splitter to see how it will work for her and her family. I hooked it up for her yesterday and she is so happy with it and my nephew is thrilled. This was super easy to hook up and turned her one input port on the back of her TV into three. All you need to do is plug the device into the back of the TV and then plug the devices into the three ports on the splitter and you are ready to go. There are two different ways this splitter works. If you have three plugged in and only one device is on then the splitter knows that and displays the one device to your TV automatically. In the event you have two or three devices that are powered on hooked into the splitter then you use the button on the top of the splitter to light up the indicator light of the device you want to use at the time. This makes it super easy to use and no more struggling to find what is plugged into the TV or the constant hooking and unhooking of devices. This has performed well with her son's gaming system as well as their movie stick and she is thrilled. I am now preparing to order another one for her living room TV.

Entirely satisfied; glad we bought this Splitter!
As written by Debbie H., we have multiple video inputs (DVD, Amazon firestick, cable/satellite input, etc.) that we connect to our TV. Our TV only has 2 HDMI inputs, however, and not enough for what we need. Shopping for a solution, I came upon the fitTek HDMI Switch Splitter 3 in 1 Out Port Cable. In comparing this product with others it seemed like this was the best bang for the buck so I ordered it. It was a perfect choice. When it arrived, it took all of 3 minutes max to simply plug in the multiple HDMI input cables into the Splitter and then the single HDMI connector into the TV. This has removed all the hassle of having to change out the cables each time we need to use a device not already plugged in. Now, when switching from one input source to another, I simply push the little button on the Splitter and we are ready to go. This is exactly what we needed and I am entirely satisfied with this product, glad we got it. I suggest reading the description of the product carefully in that I noticed a negative review complaining about the PS4. It says right on the description that this is not compatible.

perfect!!!!
At first use I had a ps3, Xbox one, and Xbox 360 hooked up to it....everything worked great except the ps3. After a in depth look I realized it was the HDMI cord connected to the ps3 that was causing the splitter to not switch between devices...swapped the cord and all three consoles are working flawless with the splitter....please check your HDMI cord before blaming the splitter....why did mine not work is cause I had a really old HDMI cord like generation 1 HDMI cord swapped with a new gold plated version I had a spare and the problem went away

Did not work. Returned. New one doesn't work!!!
Wanted an easy solution to hooking my dvd, apple tv and cable box into my TV. This seemed like the perfect fit and came quickly. Only problem is it didn't work. Short flashes of info came to the TV but never stayed on. No matter what I changed, I couldn't get any info to pass through the splitter. Now I'm back to manually switching the cable again.UPDATE:fitek sent me another one promptly but it doesn't work either. Works better than the last one but it's still junk. Actually switches between screens but each device puts up a screen that says it needs to be connected to hdmi. I tried all different cables into different devices, powered off and on everything several times, tried isolating each device and each port on device, still not working. This piece of equipment is crap. Just like all the other negative reviews I will leave a negative review to keep others from dealing with the mess I've been dealing with. You should stop selling this till you fix the problem.

Very easy to use: plug and play.I hooked up 2 devices to it (1 ps4 and 1 fire TV) out of the possible 3.The automatic switching works, as long as the new input device is throwing more power to the display (ps4 is more powerful than the fire TV) than the first source. (Won't switch from ps4 to fire TV automatically)There is a simple button on the device that allows the device to switch to another input stream manually with a single pressOverall very good device
