Daughter couldnt put it down
My daughter was thrilled to see the 3rd instalment land on the doormat - so much so it was polished off in about 24 hours. I could hear chuckles and she was so engaged with the book and eager to tell me some of the best bits. Even the tablet too a back seat to reading this book. Its a series my daughter has returned too and read again and again. Cant recommend highly enough for both bookworms or those that typically shy away.

Brilliantly funny
My daughter is 10 and loves this series of books. She was an avid reader of diary style books and reads these very quickly but often returns and dips into them to re-read.

The best BUG yet!
Billy is back and brings with her the full range of emotions for her readers, from laughing out loud to surreptitiously wiping away a tear. I loved this book because it had a complexity of plot that kept me, an adult reader, as entertained as it did my young reading friends. The story is a great way for children to explore and understand different family dynamics, appreciate that problems at school are the same for Billy as for them, and of course to learn all about biscuit laws! Hope to see more of Billy in the future.

Hilarious and touching
Another brilliant book from Jen Carney. My daughter devoured it then promptly asked when book four is coming out.Highly recommend this author for children 8-11. Her writing is so readable and relatable. The illustrations in this series are hilarious too. As well as being really entertaining, all the books in this series contain really important deeper messages about family and friendship. I LOVED the storyline in this one – it had me laughing out loud one minute and reaching for my hankie the next. 10/10!

Great book - so funny!
Written by my 9 year old daughter: I really liked this book because it was very funny and I loved that there are so many exciting things going on in Billie’s life. It must be awful that she has the initials BUG and when I read the book, I found myself so gripped that I stayed up late reading it!

The best yet!
Funny, engaging, touching and relevant - all at the same time. Personally, I loved this book even more than the previous two - which is really saying something. I read it non-stop on the train and the journey flew by. 100% recommend for readers of any age.
