Works as promised.
I heard about this on YouTube when researching the best product for new butcher block countertops. It was easy to use, applied last October, it's doing just what it promised it would do. Countertops look beautiful, the shine is unbelievable, the color comes out a little darker and I love that.

Met My Expectations!
The media could not be loaded. I looked through a lot of reviews before purchasing. I'm glad we went with this over other sealers. It is completely natural and can be used inside...in 3 to 4 hours the fumes go away and it doesn smell as strong. It is currently in the drying/curing process, so I can't speak yet to how it is holding up....but the color is beautiful. It's important to note that if you are using it near your sink, you need to keep water OFF your counters until the curing time is completed (up to 30 days). The time is super inconvenient...but it will be worth it since they are low maintenance once it is completed. We've used mineral oil in the past and you always have a layer of oil on the counter that doesn't dry....and you have to re-apply often---not with this!

Beautiful finish
My kitchen is still under construction but the counters are done. I bought unfinished acacia wood butcher block counter tops and used the Real Milk Paint Half Dark Tung Oil. I read a lot of reviews, people that have used it and made follow up reviews. Ultimately decided to use this product. I realize I was supposed to be in a well ventilated area but the weather was not allowing so we set up in the basement. The orange oil is strong but is not impossible. I used a quality stain brush to apply a generous coat to top and sides then waited 20 minutes then used an old t-shirt to remove excess, let it sit for an hour (minimum) between coats. Repeated process 5x then let cure for a week before installation. I have kept an oiled rag and wipe it over the counter in the event of a scratch. I could not love the finish more.

The best tung oil
This is a wonderful product. We refinished all our history wood floors with this and they've held up pretty well.

Beautiful color!
This Dark Tung oil is beautiful in color. I used a brush on cedar shake shingles. The photo is 1 coat. It dried well and I will add at least 1 more coat as the wood was new.

Awesome product!
This stuff was so easy to work with! And the end result is beautiful. I posted a before and after pic to show the shade I was able to get our birch wood butcher block to. I like the natural wood look instead of making my counters shiny, so I went with this product, it also seems like it will be less maintenance. The smell is strong, but a nice pleasant orange scent. It takes a while to fade, but it does eventually fade away. The company was also very helpful with tips and answering any questions I had.

Very impressed
Big thing is put on heavy and let the coats sit and soak in. Keep doing this over and over until it no longer soaks in. Took about 6 coats with my butcher block counter tops. 1 year later and they are holding up great.. highly recomend this product

Quality and Quantity
If you are looking for a great product to seal butcherblock for your kitchen, this is it! It is called the dark half, but it isn't stain. See the pics before and after (only the countertop - the rest is stain).
