Amazon Basics Fuzzy Faux Fur Sherpa Throw Blanket, 60"x70" - Cream

OK so I loved the look of this blanket sooo much that I ignored the other reviews about shedding because I thought if I washed it enough, it would be OK. Ummmm... NO. I think I’m going to be covered in fuzz for the rest of my life. This photo was AFTER hours in the dryer, two washes, and two more dries. All I did was carry it from the dryer to the next room and I looked like this. (Excuse my bleach stained cleaning clothes). I’m sooo disappointed.

This blanket is beautiful and the softest thing I’ve ever felt however, the shedding is HORRIBLE! I washed it thinking that would help, which it did not and now I can’t return it. It’s going in the trash. I’m so disappointed that it didn’t work out and that I wasted my money.

I’ve washed the blanket at least 10 times and it’s still shedding sooooo much. It’s super cozy but not a fan of being COVERED with all the faux fur.

I bought 2 of the beige leopard throws. I have lots of throws. These by far are the best !!! They are very very soft. They are substantial in weight and thickness. They ARE NOT flimsy at all. And they are beautiful. No shedding with these throws. Maybe the longer furry throws shed. I don't know. But if you want a great throw you can't get better than these. And the price is perfect. I have now bought 4 of these throws. I have bought only the short haired ones. Not the long fuzzy ones. They do NOT shed. I have many throws. These by far are perfect. Thick, soft, plush. They wash perfectly. I wash in cold and tumble dry. I give throws as gifts. I wish these came in more colors. I try to find colors that match bedroom decor. These are the best throws I've ever purchased. If you buy these get the leopard prints . They are a shorter nap and do not shed.

This is the softest blanket I have ever owned!!! The pattern side is so silky I actually replaced my sheet with this blanket so I would feel this at night. Usually fleece will get rigid after a few washes, however I have washed this blanket five times so far (and dried on high) and the fleece has retained it's original soft, fluffy quality. This is the first Amazon Basics item I have bought, I am now a loyal customer because I know the quality will be magnificient. Fuffy, cozy, and oh, so soft!

Perfect for what I needed. Brought smallest one so I could cover a chair . Extra soft!!! If ur going to use as a blanket the inside sheds right out of packaging. I did not mind because I needed the look for the outside . Perfect let’s see how it holds up. Walmart had covers for the same price too but Amazon ships faster. Thanks seller will buy for another chair.

I’m easing into a new Ivory sofa, with kitties. I ordered this as a cover for the couch while I wait to see where the kitties will be claiming as their spots. Then I plan to have faux fur pelts wherever they hang out. Looking forward to revealing the ivory sofa. Then I will continue to use this blanket as a throw over complete couch cover at night, just in case any hairball action happens at night while I’m sleeping, the couch is protected. I used to use a heavy blanket to cover the couch, it was so heavy to walk three floors to laundry. This blanket is easy to carry to wash. Super soft.It is so lightweight! I had ordered a second blanket weeks later and it had a bit of a different pattern color. I had wanted a second one for the left side of the sofa, but it did not match. I would recommend if you might be planning to have more than one, maybe order them all at once. I think I got a blanket from a different batch. Otherwise, a wonderful purchase that I can use in multiple ways.

Because of the negative reviews reporting it’s shedding i was hesitant to buy this blanket. But i wanted a king size faux fur blanket without spending an arm and a leg so i gave it shot. I am so impressed with it! It’s thicker and softer than i expected. It was so thick that it filled up my washer and dryer. Any bigger and i will need to take it to the laundromat! I expected the dryer lint filter to be full but it wasn’t. I am happy with my purchase!I scored it lower on light weight because this blanket is thick and warm. Which is what i wanted. If you are expecting a lightweight blanket i would suggest not going for a fleece lined blanket as I’m not sure any of those style would be considered light weight.

AmazonBasics are never ‘basic’ and so this AmazonBasics sumptuously soft and silky throw. It’s subtle brown and beige leopard print is a silky soft faux fur, the reverse is a warm teddy bear soft fleece fabric in light brown, both made of easy care polyester, they are well stitched together with deep stitched edges and beautifully corner stitched, making the throw feel luxuriously weighty and thick. It’s a generous 50” (127 cm ) x 60” (152 cm ) and looks good on a 3 seater sofa or on a bed for a bit of extra warmth, though on a king size bed it would only just reach the top edges. Faux fur type fleece throws are making a comeback but in an understated way. This one appears to be in an almost leopard skin style, being a light beige with dark brown and cream spots. It sounds tacky but really isn't and it looks very good. The faux fur feel means it is warm and cos but It is fairly small so is good for children rather than adults in my opinion - although I do prefer throws/blankets that are oversized personally.The blanket itself is made from 100% polyester and can be machine-washed in up to 30c washes, which is great for when the kids spill things on it (it will happen at some point after all).

When I ordered this, I knew what I was getting but not that well. I knew it was a throw blanket, but I didn't really know what it would look like since there were no pictures.For a throw blanket, it is a really good size. It will keep you very warm, and it is very fluffy. We even started having a fight over it on who is using it while watching Tv because of how nice and fluffy it is.I also really like the leopard design. Overall, really great blanket, absolutely lovely.I hope this review helps other people looking for this item or other similar products on Amazon.

I'm very impressed with this blanket. It's not that big in size but certainly heavy and thick. On one side is brownish fleece lined and on the other have long hair animal print pattern. It's very beautiful blanket and very warm. It's perfect for sofa/arm chair, to cover ourselves when watching TV. It gives an instant warmth due to it's being thick and heavier.Blanket is size 50"x60" 127cm x 152cm, not to big but nor to small.I love this blanket and you would love it too.

I really love this, the Leopard pattern is really attractive, the throw is soft and silky feeling, the underside is a plain brown fleece like material. Really thick material and good quality. Its really nice and I love it! it would be good if they were available in bigger sizes.Such a nice item.
