very practical and the perfect size for 1 person. Easy to clean, easy to change bags. The mechanisms to keep the lid open is just perfect. You can move the bin on the countertop while cutting/cleaning etc. Very practical

Rated 5 Star. I've been using a 2.4 gallon cabinet door hanging trash can w/o a LID from Amazon and wanted to replace with a new 2.5 Gallon Cabinet Door Hanging Trash Can with LID for my kitchen. Upon opening the package, I found it "PERFECT" (beautiful design, color, material, etc.) that I wanted to keep it. However, its 2.5 gallon trash can was smaller than my 2.4 gallon (specially its narrower width) cabinet door handing trash can. Therefore, I returned it for a refund.

This bin could be used for different purposes. The lid opening to the side is very helpful. I’m using it for composting and have had no stinky smells escape into the room.

Perfect when the kitchen trash can is too far away.My husband hates cooking with the trash can in the middle of the kitchen, or touching it when he has to take it out to scoop vegetable scraps into it. So he has developed a bad habit of piling the scraps on the counter instead of cleaning them right away. I hung this little can on the drawer below the counter where we cut vegetables. He likes it, and the counters aren't a disaster after he cooks anymore.The lid does get very dirty from stuff dropping down from the counter, and has to be cleaned often. I also don't like that we have to use yet another trash liner for this, although they're biodegradable I guess. Lastly, I find it difficult to change the liner, which does encourage us to re-use them until they stink. It's also easy to forget to empty it until the smell announces it's time.It opens and closes easily. I do feel some care is needed to avoid breaking it when changing the liner or cleaning. I don't think this would last in a kitchen with a large family. However, in our 2-person family it should be fine. It was more expensive than I wanted to pay for a trash can, but I reasoned that it was worth it to encourage a perpetually clean kitchen. It's easier to work around another person's bad habits than try to force them to change (and, Hay! He cooks for me. I can't complain.)

We really like the size, construction, and material. The unit fits nicely behind the cabinet door, and doesn't take up too much room in the cupboard, but holds a week's worth of compost. We really like the function of the lid, it's a beautiful thing.The bad part is that the hook isn't long enough for the cupboard door to close when you suspend the container from it. It comes with an adhesive mount, which we used, and made it possible to mount the container low enough so the door could close. But... The adhesive failed after just two weeks.

It makes it easier to collect kitchen scraps and love it. I love that it came with the system I can attach to the sink cabinet below.

Ordering again. I used to use one for trash. Now, I’m planning to use two of them, one for plastic bags, and one more for cartons.

I've been using this trash can for a year now, primarily for compost. Initially, I tried using plastic bags inside, which worked fine. I also tried paper bags, but they were a bit hard to manage, probably due to how paper bags tend to not hold shape well. For a few weeks, I used the trash can without any bags. It’s compact and was easy to carry and clean, but eventually, I went back to using bags because going bagless wasn’t very pleasant. The only real issue is the springs in the lid, which can come loose. It’s not a major problem, and you can fix it fairly easily—I've done it a few times myself. Overall, considering the price and after a year of heavy use, I’m pretty happy with this product.

Molto comoda montata sull'anta interna di un mobile utilizzando il suo supporto adesivo. E' leggera, si monta facilmente senza forature (molto comoda la piastra che adesiva su cui poi si aggancia), si chiude bene.E' abbastanza sottile per non ingombrare troppo all'interno del mobile ma allo stesso tempo con il sistema di apertura a ribalta risulta comoda da utilizzare. Bello anche il sistema per agganciare il sacco che, come vedete dalle foto, non si vede sporgere sul bordo.Nel mio caso usata per buttare residui (guanti, salviette, ...) di stampe in resina la chiusura si è rivelata sufficiente per trattenere perfettamente gli odori.
