Not the Southpole Quality from Back in the Day
Southpole back in the day was cheap. Quality was subpar compared to a lot of other brands. Apparently, they’ve come a long way, and the quality of these joggers is surprisingly good. Fabric is thick enough, soft, and seems very durable to the point where I won’t have to worry about ‘pilling’. I hate fabrics that pill up after a short period of time, even when you’re following washing and drying instructions. These are top quality and a great buy for the price. You shouldn’t be disappointed. Update: I was wrong. Short term, after one wash on delicate, these joggers pilled up like you wouldn’t believe. I had to use my pill fabric shaver to remove all the fabric. Smooth again, but shouldn’t have had to do it after one wash! C’MON SOUTH POLE! DAMN!!

Better than I expected
These pants are super soft and are a nice fabric and weight

They collect lint balls on first wear
Fit is great however they get covered in lint balls immediately requiring removal. I don't mean a few, it's extremely noticeable after the first wear.

Okay for the price
Not an elastic waist or loose elastic at best fits well in length and in the legs. Not a fan of how tight I have to tie the draw string to keep them up.

Pills after first wash.
Nice pants at first but pilled really bad after first wear and wash. They look old now except for the color (black) which stayed nice. Warm and well made otherwise.
