I’m not a cloud storage person, so I have to physically download all of my pics to my pc hard drive. To use this with no hiccups, you must have a fully charged iPhone. Change your settings of Autolock to NEVER so your phone screen will not timeout. If it times out, this process won’t work. When you plug in an SD card to this little device and plug it in your iPhone, you must then click on your photos app and select (I had success with about 250 photos at a time) select your photos. Once selected, click the bottom left hand “share” button. Scroll down the options to “Save as file” and select the external SD card file. This may take some minutes. There is no eject button. Wait until this process is over and unplug. Then photos should be on your SD card.

Works perfectly as intended. Been using it on an iPad and iPhone to upload drone photos to a photogrammetry program for solar panel installation purposes.

DON’T BUY THIS! Worked for a few photos and then corrupt my SD card! Had to download a recovery software since my photos are mostly semiprofessional. Thankfully it’s retrieving most of them but huge letdown from this gadget. Definitely will be reverting back to my old ways of WIFI transfer from my camera.

It is super easy to use, and so far, I have not had any issues with it. I take my photos with my camera and can transfer them right away to my phone. It is small and fits in my purse along with my camera, so I can transfer the photos the same day. It transfers the images just fine, and it's honestly held up since I got it. I didn't think it was expensive, so I would recommend it.

The product itself works exactly how it’s meant to! It is extremely easy to use, just plug it in download photos directly to your camera roll and you are done. I’ve used other dongles that need an app to connect to and then it doesn’t even show you your photos. This is not that, it works great! You see the photos directly in your camera roll and then pick the ones you want to keep. It’s also extremely cost effective considering it was only $6. It doesn’t store any photos on the dongle itself, so if you interested in that this isn’t the dongle for you. It seems to be good quality and is very straightforward. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the package was significantly delayed and didn’t arrive until after I needed it. Once it did get here though it’s exactly what I wanted.

I use this reader to transfer Canon images directly to my iPhone. Extremely useful because I don't need computer, but instead I transfer images directly to my phone.
