CasioEdifice Men's Stainless Steel Watch EF-510D-2AVDF Alarm Chronograph

After a great deal of looking for a new watch. I finally decided on this Casio Edifice watch. The first watch that I had of this model only worked for one hour. I was disappointed. I had a jeweler look at it and the movement of the watch was defective. This is very uncommon but it happens sometimes. I called Amazon and they in turn placed an email to Watchtronics to let them know what was wrong. Watchtronics made contact with me via email and sent me another watch asap. I was skeptical after my first experience with this watch, but I really love the watch and I just wanted one that worked and had no issues. I received my second new Casio Edifice watch on Friday 10/13/17. I immediately took it to have the band adjusted for my wrist and I had the movement and the battery inspected. Nothing wrong with either. Both Watchtronics and Amazon made the effort to make me happy as their customer. I love this watch and it runs beautifully. It's unique looking and I get a lot of compliments on it. I gAve a 5 star rating because first and foremost I love the watch and I will definitely purchase another Casio Edifice watch in the future as I'm hoping to collect them. Secondly both Watchtronics and Amazon knew I was disappointed and dissatisfied with my first watch that was defective and they both listened to me and made it right by replacing the defective watch and sending me a label to send it back. I am very happy with how I was treated and I wear my beautiful, new Casio Edifice watch 24/7.Highly recommended.

I live in England and according to the estimated delivery date i should have received this watch between the 1st and 20th of feb but i actually got it today (27 Jan). That was fantastic. My excitement didn't go much further. The watch itself is beautiful piece and is one of the best looking chronograph with a 40mm face (ideal for small wrists) however the main reason why i purchased this watch over other chronos is for the alarm function which sadly does not work! I've read through the manual and have gone through all the instructions, the test for just checking the alarm tone is fairly basic and gives no sound what so ever. had a look on google and it seems a spring may have popped out during a battery replacement before it was shipped. All in all its a great watch but in my case it lacks the functionality i intended for it.

I guess I shouldve known there was good reason this watch has so few reviews. Alarm doesn't sound, and hands are not calibrated properly. (Following Casio instructions to correct them doesn't work, either.) In addition, the back closure plate is off-center, strongly suggesting this "new" watch has previously been worked on. If you want a nice-looking "wrist paperweight," this is watch is for you. Otherwise, steer clear! Among my worst-ever purchases on Amazon.
