These particular glasses have a rounded rim that has don't completely fold back to touch the glass. I don't know if this is intentional. But I have washed these both by hands and dishwasher and they come out very clean. As with anything stainless steel, watermarks are present if the water drops don't completely dry. Our family has grown up with stainless steel drinking glasses so we are very familiar with them. None of my very sharp-nosed family members have commented on a "metal odor", again because we are familiar with it and ignore it. I have a less discerning nose, but when I actively sniff into the glass there is a faint metal smell. Compared to drinking water from actual clear glass, I do notice a slight change in the taste of water because of the smell. But the smell is in no way a deal breaker for us. I love drinking from stainless steel glasses in general, and I think we have grown up with the taste and smell of stainless steel glasses. Again it is very, very faint. If anyone is on the fence because of the odor, I would say purchase the glasses to give them a try. I still love the glasses and gave them 5 stars (my review is unsolicited). I feel very safe that the rounded edge will not cut any one. No more freaking out about broken shards of glass when a drinking glass breaks. We love this style of cup in the 16 ounce size. We got souvenir cups like this last year at a concert and this style has been our family favorite ever since. This size will hold a can of drink plus ice. It is very easy and comfortable for a female or older kid to hold in their hand without being cumbersome and bulky. We wash ours on the top shelf of our dishwasher without any issues. We also have someone add vinyl to ours to customize them or use them for gifts (please see photo). These cups are not double insulated and will not work the same way as Yeti style tumblers work. They also will leave condensation on the outside of the cup. Any of the cups in this style will. Great cups for older kids who do not need huge cups and are past the stage of sippy cups.

I received the cup sets I ordered in less than 24 hours! The cups themselves are a nice quality brushed stainless steel, as are the straws which come with them. There seem to be many companies making a similar product, some for twice as much money. I looked at the weight of each set and these are equal to any of the more expensive ones. Also, the cups are individually wrapped in plastic, as are the straws. No complaints really except one set was missing the straws. I contacted the seller via the Amazon link, just asking that they send me some more straws. They sent me a whole new set and let me keep the original ones! So we have: fast shipping, good price, nice quality product and good customer service. Amazon is pretty often excellent but every now and then one of their sellers really distinguishes themselves.

I have been using stainless shakers as cups for a few years and thought I'd try these because the rim on the shakers are a little sharp. The rim on these are rolled. I find that I don't like the rolled rim. It is hard for me to drink from. It also has an open bottom edge and I'm a little paranoid about food getting stuck inside the roll and building bacteria there.Otherwise these seem to be a good product. They stack well, are lightweight without being overly thin, and they don't rust easily.

I have had glass glasses all of my life and I have Cory time in my house and if anything hits the floor it will break. I remembered mom having metal glasses and everything was ice cold. My home was flooded this spring and a total re do. So I decided I was going to find some new glasses that were different. These were perfect just the right size stainless steel modern look and unbreakable. Packaging was great and delivered in two days. I love them ! They look great on the open shelving in my kitchen and they are used so much I am going order another set. One of the best buys I have ever made.

These were great camp cups: no frills, durable and easy to clean. I will caution that they are obviously not suitable for hot beverages since they are single wall stainless steel and will heat up quickly. So for hot coffee or hot chocolate you should look for double wall stainless or you will need a protective sleeve. A good buy - I'd recommend them.

These have been wonderful. We had the 8 oz size and decided to stick with the stainless steel for our kids. And yeah, us. These are great for keeping drinks hot or cold. Just beware that the cup gets super hot when you put a hot drink in it, I should probably just stick with a mug, but I actually prefer the stainless steel. They are attractive cups even after taking a beating from the children.

These are lower-priced to many of the other ss cups because the interior is not polished. It is brushed so stacking will show wear marks sooner on the interior and exterior of the cups. This also translates into ingesting some metal if not wiped out when stacked (the worn metal has to go somewhere and it is in the bottom cup of the stacked cups). Otherwise, just as good and thick and heavy as higher-priced ss cups.
