This camera is well worth the money. It pans 360 degrees left and right, up & down, has motion tracking that works flawlessly and has many features that the big name cameras have without the high price. We’ve been using this product for a couple of months and we absolutely love the camera. You don't need anyone to help set it up. Just screw the camera into the light socket, download the Tuya Smart app and follow the easy installation prompts. We used it outside to accompany our Ring Doorbell. This product views way more blind spots where the Ring Doorbell Pro fails. The color night vision is far superior and clearer than our Ring Doorbell pro. Love the SD card slot to store recordings if you opt not to upload to the cloud. Motion track is great especially when packages are left on the porch. You can see how the carrier handles your packages or if unwanted intruders try to hide below the camera to steal your parcels. Playback function is great although there were times when unable to view certain timeframes. Would highly recommend this product.

I love this camera, but they do not last. Last one I ordered was in Oct 2024. March 1st 2025, its dead. Just ordered another one. This one lasted four and a half months. They last long enough so i cant get amazon to replace them. Really good camera, when it works. Plan on replaceing camara constantly. Spent a lot on these cameras, Cheap now, pay later.I have an update just bought another camera to replace another camera. If you buy this camera you are a sucker.

I bought this security camera for a mountain cabin but didn’t get a chance to install and test before I had to winterize the cabin for the winter (2022-2023). I just got it installed, setup and did some basic testing. I’ll need to see how it works remotely monitoring my cabin during the winter that is over two hours away. I’m lucky to have good WiFi with StarLink satellite. I’ll update this review after further testing and usage.After limited testing though I’m very hopeful and will give it 5 stars pending remotely monitoring during the winter.The things I’m pleased with are:- [ ] great image quality- [ ] good night vision- [ ] easy install and setup … written instructions were straight forward- [ ] option of SD card or cloud recording. I am only using an SD card for now but I’m expecting cloud recording will serve us better once we leave for the winter.Some things I’m concerned about are:- [ ] I planned to use this camera in the front porch light socket but it is too big. Our security screen door hits it when fully open. That’s not the camera’s fault but I’ll have to make adjustments such as blocking how far the security door can open. The front porch is the optimal location for a security cam but for testing I’ve set it up using a lamp socket.- [ ] connecting to the camera thru the app is a bit glitchy but hopefully all functions get smoother with more experience with settings and camera’s functions. If connection between app and camera, or camera and WiFi is not steady and reliable then it will be a must that reconnecting from some distance is either automatic or very easy. I just got this running the other day. It’s located outside. Let’s see how it holds up in the Arizona heat. I’ll write a follow up review in a few months.The Pros: So far I like the camera video quality. Easy to install. You can use this with the Tuya or the SmartLife app. The price is very reasonable for what you get. If you don’t want to do anything beyond capturing video and surveillance, then this is perfect for you.The Cons:It could use a little fine tuningAutomation is my jam. One reason I bought this camera was to set up automation triggers in the Alexa app. Although Alexa can see the camera and I can tell Alexa to show me camera video on my Alexa Echo Show, I cannot create routines to bring up a camera view automatically when someone approaches my front door. When you try to create a routine in the Alexa app, it will show your camera as “unsupported”.You can use the Tuya app to do some limited amount of automation but nothing like what I described.The other thing that was annoying was when I disconnected power and then reconnected power from the light socket camera for 15 seconds, the camera never re-establishes the connection back to the cloud. It remains in a offline status. You have to get out your paperclip and reset the camera and start the installation process all over again to establish connection back to the cloud through the Tuya app.So if you suffer a power outage of any kind, be prepared to reinstall.
