Brilliant!
This smart light is brilliant and I’m amazed at the price! I absolutely love this purchase and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.Setting it up was super simple, I downloaded the Tapo app and followed the instructions. I was all connected and up and running in minutes. Setting it up to work with my Google home worked well too! It functions really well with my Google Home, I can turn it off/on and change the brightness/colours so I’m not limited to only the app.It also works as a normal light switch and so it works even when you don’t use/have access to the app.One of my favourite features on the app is the scheduling. I can switch my lights on and off at a time id like which is fantastic because I have a habit of falling asleep with the lights on.The light is also really bright and lights up the entire room, I usually only have it on 60% brightness. I also really like the option to make custom colours of your choosing instead of being limited to preset colour choices.Overall this is a brilliant affordable smart light and I’d recommend this to anyone looking to move into smart lighting.

Brilliant Bulbs
I wanted light bulbs that connected to an app so that I didn't have to move to turn them on and off - I was bedbound at the time. I had the Tapo video doorbell, with which I was happy and for which I already had the app installed, so I bought the Tapo light bulbs.Connecting them was a little tricky - thankfully, I had a tall friend to help, as my phone needed to be very, very close to the bulb to connect.Over the course of a year, they have stayed constantly connected to my network with oly one bulb needing to be reconnected following a 24-hour power outage, which was reassuring.Once linked, it was easy to turn them on and off via the app. The app has a large range of options for colour and brightness, and even provides preset themes. The timer and scheduling functions are handy, too. The app also shows how much energy each bulb uses. Honestly, though, I mostly use the app to switch the lights on and off.The bulbs have been in place for a year, and I'm happy with their performance. When they need replacing, I will be purchasing these Tapo light bulbs again.

Good bulbs for Tapo app
Bought these bulbs to go with the rest of my Tapo devices. Maybe a little on the pricey side for a bulb, but they work excellently. You can control them from the app, choose different colours, choose the brightness, you can even have a disco mode -which I personally would not want, but it was fun to see the light change colours and the reflections dancing around the room.

Great Smart Bulb.
This is such a great bulb. My partner has MS and is bedridden. With this, connected to Alexa, she can now decide when she wants the light on or off without relying on one of us to turn it on or off for her. It's dimming functionality is easy to use with simple instructions to Alexa. This bulb doesn't have any colours, just white. It has good functionality and is excellent value for money. The durability seems good. It hardly ever disconnects, I think it has only done so once and it was easy to reconnect through my phone.

Fantastic.
I have a dual 2.4 and 5GHz NOW router. I have a Tapo security camera, 4 of their smart plugs and now 3 of their B22 colour change light bulbs. They all work almost flawlessly and have never randomly shut off or gone wild. The bulbs all set up first time within a couple of minutes. I live in a small 2 bedroom, semi-detached house and find one bulb per room excellent in terms of brightness. I love the colour change ability and feel like the cooler, daylight mode helps with the winter blues on grey days. I have scheduled the bedroom light to come on at 6am with my alarm during the week. In auto mode it starts at 5% brightness and mirrors natural light, which is ample and gentler on the eyes when you're waking up.I don't use Alexa but using the Google voice commands on my phone is great. You need to link and organise your Tapo devices within Google Home before you can do this. This is straightforward in the app, but remember to redo it if you move the bulbs around. I've also been able to share all my Tapo devices with my girlfriend so she can control them too.You can still turn the light on/off at the manual switch. Just be aware that turning off at the switch will disconnect the bulb until you turn it back on at the switch. You can set the default "on" state so that every time you turn on at the physical switch it will instantly go to that same brightness and colour setting like a normal light. There may be a short delay in controllability on the app whilst it reconnects. If you frequently want to control the light from another room or whilst away, don't use the physical switch.

BEWARE! Interference sets house alarm off!!!
I know it sounds absolutely crazy but these bulbs set off my house alarm. They cause some kind of interference with my front door sensor. I'm not talking about the bulb setting off the alarm when it's set. I'm talking about the alarm coming up with a fault with the front door sensor and then setting off the alarm when it's not even set! It says the battery is low in the sensor, but it's not. I have replaced the battery and believe me, I have explored every other possibility and I have done multiple tests. I refused to believe it at first because it's just so unbelievably ridiculous but I am now 100% sure it's the bulbs. If you have a "Risco" alarm with wireless sensors, you should probably avoid these bulbs!Otherwise, they're actually a great product and super easy to set up lolGood colours and functionality. They even automatically set themselves up for smart speaker use with both Alexa and Google. Brilliant product, except for interference with my alarm system!I'm still mind blown.
