PopSockets Suction Surface Phone Mount for MagSafe- Black

I have been using pop Sockets for a few years. Didn’t think I would like them at first, but now I can’t have a phone with them Latest is 16 pro max. I have a nice strong magnetic stand in my car. The issue is I have to remove my magnetic pop socket. Every single time I get in my car to use my magnetic With this mount here I adhered it to a Metal disc that magnetically attached to my existing mount. It is stable and holds my phone well. The metal disc is specifically a metal mounting plate that comes with a Wyze security camera. I tried some other non-pop socket brown mounts and they didn’t work for squat With those inches them to some sheet metal circles I cut out and then just stuck them to my existing magnetic MagSafe mount. In theory they should have worked fine The only thing I have to take my pop socket off for now is when I go to bed and want to do magnetic mount charging next to my bed. No solution for that yet. If this mount comes undone from the metal disc I will just use some new 3m vhb tape that I have and I have always had good luck with 3m because I prepare the surface correctly and press hard to adhere and let it sit 24 hours before using.

I put this on my car MONTHS ago and after I totaled it, I tried to take it off. That thing did not move. It was HOLDING ON FOR LIFE!! I had to literally scrape it off 😭 It fits the pop socket of course. It is cute, easy to put on and definitely worth it. I live by this pop socket car holder.

I have tried different products for mounting my cell phone in my car. I had one of those vent mounts, and it was terrible. Cup holder mounts aren't very useful either. So I tried this popsocket holder and I am very pleasantly surprised. Since you can place it most anywhere, you have more options than with other solutions. My only worry was that it might not adhere well since my dash has a rough surface. I gave it a try and it sticks with no issues at all. I stuck it on, waited an hour just to make sure it was solid and then put my phone on it. My phone is big , with some decent weight to it. The popsocket slips in to the holder really nicely and does not slip at all. The phone can be turned from vertical to horizontal at any time very smoothly. The holder itself has not had any problems sticking to the dash. It has been there for many weeks there, going from warm to freezing cold and back. Very happy with this item.

I bought two of these to put on the side of my desk. After a year maybe, the glue started to come undone. I had to use a very strong double stick tape to keep using it.

Works well in my Highlander. I use it multiple times per day with no issues. But in the summer, the adhesive gives way and it slips. Won’t buy again.

Never broke and I had this for at least a year. Never fell off my dash or dropped my phone. Perfect size for a PopSocket.

This mount does NOT use a suction cup, which is the whole reason I bought it. It uses the same old damaging adhesive as always. So, my hunt for the perfect phone mount continues!

Second one I buy and I use so much alcohol to clean off any debris and it’s still fell off in the hot summer. It lasted all my winter now it’s summertime and I’m screwed because I have nowhere else to put it.
